Degner Veibod is a secondary troll in Vast Error. His associated alchemic sigil is Lye. He is the boss of the programming company that Rypite and Sirage worked at before joining Skorpe.

Biography
Degner Veibod is a major character in Thaumatrope's first story, Syzygy. He is the first employer to give a real chance to Rypite and Sirage to find a stable and honest job. He offers them the role of manager, if they can successfully bring a task to completion: lead the creative team of the company to produce a program that was commanded by a factory.
His only appearance in Vast Error is when Ellsee enters Stronghold 21, as one of the trolls who watch her do magic tricks.
