Alonzo Mersiv, also known by his title as The Fomentor, is the ancestor to Dismas Mersiv who lived during The Renaissance.

Etymology

Alonzo is a given name of Spanish origin, possibly meaning "noble, battle ready".

Biography

He met Cyprim Shukra sometime after Zekura Raines passed on her blood curse to Thesal Voorat, and they entered a matespritship.

He and Cyprim intended on hunting down Zekura and Thesal together, but before they could, some unknown war struck. He was killed in battle, supposedly protecting the land he loved.

Cyprim was Alonzo's matesprit. The two of them grew close after Zekura broker her promise to Cyprim, Alonzo encouraging her to be proud of her own scars and offering comfort in a time of uncertainty and grief.
