Jentha Briati, also known by her Skorpe handle furbishFacilitated, is one of the main characters in the webcomic Vast Error. Her associated alchemic sigil is Tin. She is the last of the main cast to be introduced.

Jentha is based off of the "useless" fantroll archetype, and generally is a subversion of the "shy, sweet, anxious girl" trope.

Repitonian goldbloods are usually born with extremely powerful survival abilities, but Jentha was born without one, making her very vulnerable.

Biography

Six Sweeps

Not much is currently known about Jentha before the story begins.

Pre-game

After her introduction, Jentha receives a message from Occeus, seeking/wanting an advice about his personal problems while Albion is in the midst of her entry and Sovara is busy hiding from the creature. She tells him to jump off on a cliff and just wants to do her own stuff.

After Occeus' transmission with Hamifi, he messages her again and tells her that he may have finally hit the lowest point of his life and quickly replies that she doesn't know what he means.

Jentha is included in Arcjec's memo, but doesn't respond to it. Instead, she ask for help in Ellsee's memo.

Later, she helps Sovara in eliminating the creatures by whacking it with a pillar she's holding using the Game's cursor as she messages Occeus and begs to help her with the Game. She is quickly distracted by a glowing light behind her back as the light quickly transforms into the denizen of Light, Af.

During the game

Jentha presumably enters in "[S] Ellsee: Enter.", though she was only shown going through her entry portal with AF and thens hown on her planet.

Personality and Traits

Jentha is a very shy and anxious troll who deliberately lives in isolation due to her inability to defend herself on Repiton. Right before her introduction, she is described by White Noise as "Incredibly hard to find on many occasions."

She is highly dependent on her moirail, Dismas, and to a lesser extent, Murrit. Despite her shy and dependent traits, or perhaps as a result of those traits, Jentha has a sassy and cruel side (often being rude to and insulting other trolls).

She collects and cares for "outcast" toys, notably a collection of furbies, because she is unable to help herself.

Relationships

Dismas Mersiv

Dismas appears to provide nearly everything Jentha needs, both in terms of financial support and emotional comfort as his role as her moirail would dictate. While Dismas is typically aggressive towards most trolls, he's calm and nurturing when speaking to Jentha.

Murrit Turkin

Jentha has a great dislike for and distrust in Murrit due to his frequent antagonization of Dismas and tendency to cause him pain.

Occeus Coliad

Jentha comes across as having a disliking towards Occeus, as when they interact she is cruel to him (telling him to jump off a cliff and that she doesn't care he needs her aid). However, Occeus doesn't seem to pick up on the fact she's intentionally being rude, as he ends up believing she had helped him out when in reality he helped himself. He seems to put trust into Jentha while she does not seem to trust him.

• Her sprite is the only one of all the trolls to not have her pupils touching the top of her eyes.
• Jentha is a Derse dreamer, a Yellowblood, and a Hero of Light, meaning her extended sign would be Gempia, Sign of the Perspicacious.
• Jentha is canonically asexual, as confirmed by the Vast Error official Tumblr. [1]
• Jentha runs a Filler account under the username grembox.
• While Jentha's lusus has not been revealed, one of her Filler posts implies that it may have been incubating in a cocoon for more than two sweeps.
