Degner Veibod is a major character in [[Thaumatrope]]'s first story, [[Syzygy]]. He is the first employer to give a real chance to Rypite and Sirage to find a stable and honest job. He offers them the role of manager, if they can successfully bring a task to completion: lead the creative team of the company to produce a program that was commanded by a factory.
