Lusus naturae, also referred to as custodians, are the Troll equivalents to a Guardian. They look after the young trolls, fulfilling the role that the trolls ancestors could not. The job of a lusus is to take care of a troll in a parental sense.

A lusus also tends to pick a troll who has the same blood color as it.

The owl lusus is like a owl-creature that Sovara has a custodian. She doesn't live inside of her hive due to its size.

Skulltitan lusus

First Appearance

Dismas' lusus. Dismas frequently gets into fights with his Skulltian guardian. This guardian is strong enough to leave notable scars on a troll. It is implied that the Skulltitan kidnapped Dismas when he was young.

Arcjec's lusus.

Chimera lusus

First Appearance

Ellsee and Zekura's lusus.

Presumably alive since Zekura was, as they were in the shadows while The Executive was walking through his hometown .

Albion's lusus. Presumably given only to the Star Children.
