Snowbound Blood: Volume Eight, entited "Of Marble and Speakers, Shattered", is the eighth installment of Snowbound Blood: A Vast Error Story.

The focal characters in this volume are Valtel Gurtea and Sabine Berare.

Plot

Intro

After forming an alliance with Necron, Secily had a personal talk with Sestro, presumably about the events that lead to her matesprit's death.

Valtel

Holding a torch in one hand and her sword in the other hand, Secily and Necron made their way to the Grove to see her next suspect. She catches a movement out of the corner of her eye and turns around, only to see a tree.

She recalls making their way in the Grove when one night, Endari calls her to inform that Gingou's matesprit and Secily's next suspect, Valtel Gurtea, has gone missing and tries to contact him, but to no avail. He then enlisted her help to find him and tells her that he has ties to her background , which Secily accepts.

• The three Trollodex achievements that can be obtained by completing the volume's story are:
  • "Interrogate Valtel. / Received an ominous warning from Valtel."

    • The X achievement is gotten if the player encounters the Gaiaeon jumpscare in Valtel's route (which has a 5% chance of happening when going down a dead end in the maze section).
