Plot
Intro
Resting after her previous interrogation, she recalls that she was being followed by someone and was cut off from the comms grid, sending both Hamifi and Sestro in distress.
Occeus
Secily has been summoned back to the corporation by Hamifi as she will be discussing about her next investigation. Secily voices out her agreement in the slower progression in her current assignment and tells her that she's fine.
Hamifi then announces that she has assigned the next suspect for her whilst Secily questions her if she shouldn't stick to the suspects that they handpicked for her. Hamifi brings up the transgression as Secily stays silent. Hamifi speaks again, telling her that Occeus Coliad, the spearhead of the outsourced researchers, is the next suspect assigned to her as she tells her that it is her personal request and a tip she received coming from one of the insiders.
After giving out the assignment and location to Occeus' hive, Hamifi quickly leaves the room, leaving Secily alone in the room again.
Some time later, she arrives at her destination: Skulltitan Graveyard, where most of the cossolal bones of dead creatures rested. She is the suddenly approached by two undead trolls as they attacked her as she pulls out her sword. She kills them both by stabbing the first troll by its neck and the other throught its chest.
Her short victory was cut short when Occeus' lusus, an Ouworm, suddenly shoots from the ground and devours the corpses she had killed. Dusting her clothes, she made her way to his hive's door when she is suddenly greeted by Rogi instead, Occeus's assistant.
As she tries to communicate with it, a figure suddenly approaches them. Secily turns around to see the actual appearance of her next suspect: Occeus Coliad. Occeus then leads her inside of his hive, telling her that he had been expecting her after Hamifi called him. He then tells her that he and Rogi had made her some tea and biscuits, which she accepts.
As she was eating, she brought up questions about his study and as to how his assistant was created, which Occeus replies that he's different of all of the experiments that he did, aside from the fact that it lacks to have a "soul".
Questioning about his supercomputer and his ultimate goal, Occeus replied that he doesn't use it often except there's an incoming communication/transmission and he was trying to achieve "untethered imm.o.rtality" through his experiments.
Secily then inquired more about his job, which he estatically replied that he' specifically studying as to how reviving of life works though he cannot prove it to her with just an explanation. Occeus then suggested that he obtains a corpse outside to prove his point.
As he leaves with Rogi, Secily begins her investigation as she checks first the cabinets which mostly contains his equipments. As she was about to close it, a bottle rolls out as she picks it up and quickly puts it back to its place.
She then opens his supercomputer, finding out about his condition (Transmuted Epiphysis Cerebri) and then checks his Skorpe handle. As she was scrolling through his conversation logs, she takes notice of Occeus's conversation with Calder, saying that their last messages has a different tone in it.
