Pure Selves are a function in The Game that allows the player to achieve a high tier of power based on their title/classpect, similar to God Tiering in Homestuck. The powers of Pure Selves are different depending on the player's title. The class and aspect of a player affect what their Pure Self's outfit looks like, and every combination has a different outfit. In Vast Error, instead of conditional immortality, players receive a constant regenerative ability and can only be killed by wounding them to the point of being unrecognizable. Fire is mentioned by Defrauding Dealer as one particularly good method to achieve this.[1]
Although some of the Pavlovian aspect holders have been shown to be Pure Selves, the only ones that have been revealed and named as of yet are the Thief of Blood, Heir of Heart, Page of Doom, Mage of Mind, and Thief of Time.
