-After learning that the tree in the village which was planted by followers of Kheparia had a connection to the plague, she attempts to cut the tree down with an axe, which releases a dark cloud directly towards her. She is pulled out by Gerbat and Sahvel, but she and Gerbat are infected regardless, with Borwik experiencing a large amount of growth particularly on her limbs.
-After helping Pramen burn down his hive, Borwik chases Pramen to attempt to cut his potentially infected arm off, before tripping and passing out, while Pramen escapes.
