'''Taz Poemme''' (short for '''Tazsia''') known by her [[Skorpe]] handle, {{VE Quote|tazsia|perniciousOverkill}}, is one of the [[troll]]s in ''[[Vast Error]]''. Her associated alchemic sigil is Platinum and her horns are long and winding. She wears her symbol on the back of her vest. She is a deconstruction of the "Terrifying Cultish Murder Clown" fantroll archetype.

She is a well-known member of a wrestling-based cult known as [[Mirthamaniacs]]. Her chucklevoodoo holds the power of 'Intimidation' and is constantly active, shown through the purple glints in her pupils.

She was the second troll introduced and the second troll to enter the game.

Her preferred name of 'Taz' is a reference to actual professional wrestler [[wikipedia:Tazz|Tazz]]. "Poemme" may be a [[troll]]ification of the word ''poem''.

== Biography ==

===Early life===
Taz was kept captive by [[Pozzol Broyer]] in the [[Mirthamaniacs]] under the statement it was her destiny as [[Fortmistress Deadlock|Fortmistress Deadlock's]] descendant, being forced to kill other children as young as her in the ring and quickly becoming a crowd favorite. The wrestling announcer [[Vilcus Cendum]] came to empathize with Taz's struggles, offering to cover for her when she sneaked away to see her friends. Eventually, Taz decided to help Vilcus' escape the Mirthamaniacs by faking his death and claiming to have killed him. Pozzol saw through the ruse, but offered her a deal: if she wanted to be able to come and go freely, she would have to "go pro" and commit to his orders, chaining herself permanently to the Mirthamaniacs, a bargain she accepted.

According to Arcjec, she ruined his life by doing something that ended up changing him into who he is today.

It can be inferred that this had something to do with her punching him in the face; when Arcjec began to run away crying from Taz's hive near the end of Act 1, his nose was bleeding rather heavily. When discussed, Taz shows a very stubborn and upset attitude towards the subject. However, you can see that she does have tears in her eyes in the panel if you look close enough. Showing she does potentially regret the incident.

=== Pre-game ===
Shortly after Taz's introduction, she is messaged by [[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]], who tells her about the completion of a long-term project in the form of a game he wants everyone to play. Although Murrit's esoteric vernacular and vagueness frustrate Taz, she listens until Murrit tells her that she's going to have to get in contact with [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]], to which she outright refuses and ceases messaging the seadweller.

Taz is then called away by the sound of her [[lusus]], a large aquatic mink, that she has been forced to keep from the ocean due the increasingly toxic environment and mutated undersea fauna. The lusus had apparently killed a nameless, bronze-blooded troll who had been loitering near Taz's hive; it was now impaled on a stalactite peaking out of the ocean neighboring the hive. Taz takes a moment to be grateful the poor troll didn't fall into the ocean depths, but admits that the troll probably is still better off dying on the spikes than being found by Taz, who would have beaten them to death.

Taz then messages her moirail, [[Albion Shukra|Albion]], going over the details of her interactions with Murrit. When Albion makes a cryptic (but insincere) remark about knowing the future, Taz asks Albion if she might know anything about it. Albion admits she does not what Murrit might be planning but knows that the night was of great importance, as it was the night [[Repiton]] would finally crumble and the night she was expect to save it. Taz, a staunch non-believer of Albion's prophetic destiny, dismisses the notion as bullshit.

Albion then repeats Murrit's sentiment and states that Taz really should try to reach out the Arcjec and finally try to work out their differences, instead of her merely trying to get his attention. Taz continues to be upset at the suggestion. Their conversation ends with Albion going over her destiny to merge with her lusus and salvage the remains of Repiton and the remaining troll species. Taz is left confused and concerned for her moirail. Taz later receives Murrit's memo pertaining to the game and its nature.

Taz is next seen after Murrit witnesses the release of the flower within in the [[Frog Temple]] that neighbors his hive. The resulting release unleashes [[The Game]], which installs itself onto all the trolls' main computers. Taz, dismayed at how her computer has apparently been taken over by The Game (and render it unable to do anything aside from using [[Skorpe]] and the game itself), messages Murrit, she comes to the logical conclusion that Murrit tampered with her computer, which he denies. Murrit, frustrated at Taz's continued refusal to listen to him, simply tells to reach out to Arcjec, and figure it out. Taz's game screen then switches to show Arcjec's hive. She sees Arcjec passed out on the floor covered in crumpled up parchment.

When Arcjec finally awakens, Taz uses the game's cursor to drag Arcjec to his desk and look at his computer. The former friends bicker for some time before Taz forces Arcjec to look at the reality of the situation -- literally. When Arcjec dismisses Murrit's memo as an elaborate prank done by her and the seadweller, Taz retaliates by forcing him to look out his window and look at the meteor hurtling towards his hive. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Arcjec agrees to work with Taz, despite her constant antagonism.

The two reach an uneasy truce (although mutually agree to avoid each other once everything is said and done) and begin working to unravel the secrets of The Game. Arcjec realizes that the symbols he's been writing in his sleep are connected to the game, and he begins inputting the symbols into the game window, while Taz inputs a set of codes she recieved from Murrit's memo. This allows Taz access to a set of objects to place in and outside of Arcjecs hive. Proceeding outside, Taz places a series of pillars and an archway outside Arcjec's hive, and a mysterious chest in Arcjec's room. Arcjec opens the chest, which unleashes a powerful gust of wind which send him hurtling out of his room (destroying the wall in the process). The wind blows Arcjec right in front of the archway, which activates into some sort of portal. Taz uses the game cursor to push Arcjec into the portal while he is dazed and makes him enter [[The Medium]]. Meanwhile, the pillars around Arcjec's hive divert the oncoming meteor into [[Skaia]], preventing its complete destruction.

After Arcjec's abrupt entry, Taz briefly messages Arcjec and tells him to message her before moving on to working with Laivan on her own entry. She and [[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]] struggle to figure out Taz's codes before they are both pulled into a memo made by [[Ellsee Raines]], who attempts to share her own knowledge on the game that she uncovered through her own means. The memo quickly goes off track and it isn't long before Taz gets frustrated and leaves. Laivan chides Taz for burning bridges that might have helped with their entry process.

It is at this point that Taz's [[lusus]], overwhelmed by its desire to return to its natural aquatic habitat, jumps into [[The Black Depths]] and is very quickly eaten alive, to Taz's horror, sending her chucklevoodoo along with her rage into overdrive. This rage is punctuated by the fact that her lusus' blood reveals the location of the codes Taz needed, which had been in the rocks beneath the cliffs by her hive. Laivan asks if Taz is okay, and Taz makes it clear that she does not want to talk about it and that they should move on.

Taz and Laivan make quick work of the entry process, and when it comes time for Taz to unleash her [[denizen]], she has Laivan to put the rusted and locked cage, her [[Paragon Repository]], in her [[Taz's hive|Torture Fort]] so that she can go against it on her own terms. Despite trying everything in her power to destroy the cage, it having a lock with no key, she is forced to ask Laivan for help to fetch her Ferocity Weaver which she left outside in the rush. Laivan obliges and gives it to her, and Taz uses it to channel the full power of her rage and chucklevoodoo to destroy the cage and unleash her denizen. The release of her frustrations on the cage calms Taz back down in the process. The denizen quickly enters the portal and Taz follows suit.

Upon her entry, Taz is very quickly berated by [[Azbogah]], the Denizen of Rage. Azbogah tears into Taz for being loud and obnoxious, a pain to be around, and a person undeserving of her aspect with very little capacity to change. After making it very clear that she does not like Taz, Azbogah ends the conversation to generate Taz's land.

In [S] Engage, she was seen exploring her land, [[Land of Growth and Gravity]].

In [S] Ellsee: Enter., she was seen killing a monster using her strife specibus: [[macekind]], as one of her [[consorts]] gave her a winding key.

As shown through Albion's visions when interacting with [[Star Guardian|her lusus]], Taz may eventually become her [[pureself]]. How this happens and through what method is currently unknown.

== Personality and traits ==
Taz is a notably angry, headstrong and determined troll who tends to not think her actions through, instead just doing what she feels is best in the moment. This way of thinking has definitely caused her more harm than good, and has seemingly ruined or put a lot of strain on her relationships with the exception of [[Albion Shukra|Albion]], who is somehow able to pacify her seething disposition. Not even Taz really knows how she does this.

She has a habit of getting belligerent verbally and physically, often throwing insults when provoked or annoyed. She doesn't seem to understand simple concepts in a conversation like jokes or banter, finding the concepts to be stupid and bothersome. She also hates to be interrupted when speaking, especially if it's about something she finds important. Taz isn't one to easily ask others for help, stubbornly doing tasks herself even if she doesn't know how to do it properly. She also refuses to admit when she is wrong and generally convinces herself that she's done a good job after the fact. This is heavily shown throughout her conversations with [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]] in [[Vast Error: Act 1|Act 1]].

There are moments when she will yield to her conversation partner, though this is normally only if she finds the issue to be trivial or she is tired of dealing with it and knows her efforts will end up being futile in the end regardless.

Despite her many antagonistic and self-destructive traits, she consistently shows that -- true to her title as a [[Class|Sylph]] -- she does have good intentions. It's clear that her aggression and frustration towards others is out of a desire to help those around her, albeit in her own caustic, hyper-aggressive manner. Additionally, due to her incredibly blunt nature, she isn't the type of person to act passively against others or do anything in an underhanded manner, and considers people with those traits a waste of time.

Taz is very sensitive about her full name, and is easily set off when people bring it up. She is also a passionate devotee of the [[Mirthamaniacs]] cult, being a major contender in the ring herself. She collects and studies torture devices and weaponry in her hive.

== Relationships ==
=== Albion Shukra ===
[[Albion Shukra|Albion]] is in a [[moraillegence]] with Taz, although their relationship appears to occasionally fluctuate into an [[auspisticism]] with [[Occeus Coliad|Occeus]], where Albion acts as the mediating party. Albion is notable among Taz's close relationships in that she is the only troll who is able to placate Taz's aggression, with Taz being outright gentle and thoughtful when interacting with Albion. Taz herself isn't sure how Albion manages to do this. Because of this, Taz has stated that she finds Albion to be a "special kind of scary" and "perfect".

Taz has plainly stated that she does not share Albion's religious beliefs and more or less thinks of them to be horseshit. This is likely due to Taz's own beliefs within the Mirthamaniacs.

=== Arcjec Voorat ===
[[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]] and Taz have had a difficult relationship since the comic started. Stemming from their largely difficult past and assumedly unrealized romantic entanglements. It is believed that their relationship was at one point abusive or unrequited; mutually or otherwise. After some kind of relationship-ending incident, Arcjec has since vehemently avoided any interaction with Taz for two sweeps. Taz has since desperately tried to reach out to Arcjec. The resulting fallout has evidently deeply affected Arcjec, resulting a drastic change in personality and demeanor, while Taz felt abandoned by Arcjec.

When the two are forced to interact with one another during the events of the game, the two are constantly at each other's throats, barely being able to stay civil with one another even for the sake of their mutual survival. Despite this, even though it is very slight, they did have a couple moments of levity and have been shown to complete their goals as a team rather efficiently all things considered.

Taz repeatedly shows that she does still care deeply for Arcjec, having spent so much trying to rebuild their relationship and her clear unease when she is forced to interact with him on less-than-favorable conditions. This is further indicated by her efforts to save him during his entry and how she messages him to check on his well-being post-entry, despite her being able to see him through her UI.

=== Murrit Turkin ===
Taz is one of the few trolls to not be immediately put off by [[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]]'s scummy, perverted facade, to the point that she's actually somewhat fond of the sea-dweller. Despite this, Taz will not put up with any of Murrit's bullshit and is ready to drop his ass whenever he's not being helpful. Murrit on the other hand enjoys toying with Taz and her temper, but does try his best to actually be useful to her once in a while as well. Though he also has his tipping point and has left Taz on her ass just as badly as she has done to him.

This nicer relationship is however, undercut by his constant mention and nicknaming of Taz's breasts in their conversations -- something that Taz surprisingly doesn't seem to get onto him about as one might expect.
=== Minkmom ===
Taz often had to fight against her [[lusus]] and its natural instinct to return to the sea, due to [[The Black Depths]] being extremely toxic and filled to the brim with deadly, multi-eyed and carnivorous sea life. In-fact, Taz acquired much of her fight skills early on due to having to fight Minkmom so much. Taz is understandably devastated when Minkmom succumbs to its natural instincts when fearful of the oncoming meteor and jumps into the ocean when Taz's back is turned, going into a rage as a result.

=== Azbogah ===
Upon meeting her, Taz is immediately critical and distrustful of the [[Azbogah|denizen of Rage]], before the Denizen interrupts Taz to speak her mind.

[[Azbogah]] deeply despises Taz. From the moment of their first meeting, Azbogah makes her disdain of the Sylph of Rage crystal clear, stating that she considers her player to be: entirely unfit for her role, an insufferable hypocrite who is incapable of change, and a burden on her friends and loved ones. Nonetheless, Azbogah is duty-bound to serve Taz as her denizen, and owes her a debt of gratitude for releasing her.

The two appear to be very similar in demeanor, as both of them are very wrathful and vindictive beings. By virtue of this and by being two halves of the same whole, Azbogah might be guilty of having the very same flaws that she claims makes Taz unfit to be a Rage player, possibly indicating that the Denizen of Rage herself might be a hypocrite.

=== Occeus Coliad ===
The two appear to have been involved in a now-ended black relationship with one another. It appears that Taz occasionally fluctuates into the ashen quadrant with [[Occeus Coliad|Occeus]], with Albion acting as mediator. This would indicate some on-going enmity between the two.

=== Ellsee Raines ===
It is implied that Ellsee harbors black feelings for Taz. When Arcjec mentions Taz to [[Ellsee Raines|Ellsee]] in a conversation, Ellsee seems to be put-off by being reminded of the jamblood, and later states her determination to prove her worth to the others, despite what Taz or [[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]] might say. Similarly, Taz very quickly loses patience with Ellsee (and by proxy, everyone else) when she is pulled into Ellsee's memo, but appears to be especially impatient with Ellsee in particular.

=== Laivan Ferroo ===
Taz does not enjoy speaking to [[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]] very much due to their naturally opposite personalities. She is put off by his simple demeanor and nonchalance, finding it frustrating especially when his attention is away from the subject at hand. She compares talking to him to talking to a brick wall.

Laivan seems to be more or less neutral towards Taz, and generally lacks the words to describe her, but isn't above getting frustrated with her when she is being unreasonable, as most people are.

== Trivia ==
* 'Pernicious' means to have a harmful effect on someone, most often in a gradual or subtle way. 'Overkill' is commonly used as a term of excessive action or treatment. When combined, the two terms form a reference to Taz's history with Arcjec, destroying something about him in a manner that has left him a changed person to how he was at 6 sweeps. It can also refer to her brutal interest in combat, especially with her torture device collection.
* Taz's pet rock "The Rock" is obviously named after [[wikipedia:Dwayne_Johnson|Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson]] who she actually has a poster of in her respiteblock, along with [[wikipedia:Vince_McMahon|Vince McMahon]] (in his famous 'IT'S ME AUSTIN' speech, no doubt as a reference to [[austinado]]) and [[wikipedia:Hulk Hogan|Hulk Hogan]].

'''Occeus Coliad''', also known by his [[Skorpe]] handle, {{VE Quote|occeus|macabreExude}}, is one of the [[troll]]s in ''[[Vast Error]]''. His associated alchemical sigil is Sulfur and his horns are in the shape of small crowns.

Occeus is a deconstruction of the 'Mad Scientist' archetype,<ref>{{CiteSocial|tumblr|whosaid=vasterror|link=https://vasterror.tumblr.com/faq}}</ref> despite not seeming to truly fit the label. He has many references to 'Frankenstein' based on his character, the obvious example being the naming of his assistant, [[Rogi]]. Which is simply 'Igor', the assistant to Victor Frankenstein, spelled backwards.

His visor is made specifically to cover up his third eye that formed after a major traumatic incident in his past. This third eye allows him to momentarily see into alternate dimensions, seeing vague figures and apparitions out of his peripheral vision. He sees more when he makes a conscious effort to contact the dimensions directly. He can also constantly hear the low buzzing of [[The Static|static]] in the back of his mind, but it doesn't bother him so long as he doesn't think about it. He was the eighth troll introduced and the second troll introduced in [[Vast Error: Act 2|Act 2]]. He was also the tenth troll to enter the game.

Occeus also stars in his own route in ''[[Snowbound Blood]]'', being the only troll of the main 12 to be featured in the [[Trollodex]].

== Etymology ==
Occeus likely comes from Oculus, the Latin word for eye, befitting of his mutation.

Coliad likely comes from Coliadinae, a subfamily of butterflies also known as sulphurs, which matches his alchemical sigil.

== Biography ==

=== Pre-game ===
Not much is currently known about Occeus before the story begins. However, it has been said in his intro page that he got his Transmuted Epiphysis Cerebri (Third Eye) from a major traumatic event that happened when Occeus was 7 sweeps old.

Occeus is first seen finally contacting [[Ellsee Raines|Ellsee]] after she messaged him many days prior. The two discuss the implications of a possible breakthrough in is work, while Occeus apologizes for not giving Ellsee enough attention. Ellsee voices her support in Occeus's scientific pursuits while Occeus emphasizes the importance of the work he does and that the time he spends away from her will have been for the greater good as he plans reinvigorate their world. This conversation would leave Ellsee feeling needy and unlikable.

Occeus is next seen performing a revitalization experiment on a [[Minor Characters#Lipsen Fluxum|deceased troll]], which results in a partial success—the experiment revitalized him but the troll remains unintelligent and aggressive. This forces Occeus solemnly to eliminate the troll and mark the current experiment as a failure. He takes a moment to check his computer once again while Rogi disposes of the corpse. He finds a series of messages from a distressed Ellsee. Occeus attempts to comfort Ellsee as she details what she had just gone through earlier in the story.

After Occeus had messaged her, Ellsee had gone to attempt meeting up with [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]], only to see a meteor hurtling towards his hive. She had apparently found the hive in shambles and on fire, yet not completely destroyed from the meteor, with Arcjec mysteriously absent from the building. In searching for Arcjec, Ellsee had found a mass memo sent out by [[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]] pertaining to a mysterious reality-bending game that everyone was involved in (but Murrit had intentionally excluded Ellsee for reasons unknown). Ellsee had then returned to her hive and reached out to Occeus to inform him of the memo as well, knowing that he probably hasn't seen it.

Occeus reads the mass memo that Murrit had written after doubting its contents and is distressed at the absurdity, yet possible reality of the situation presented by [[The Game]]. It necessitating their leaving of [[Repiton]] would end up making his efforts to save it completely irrelevant. Having learned that he's meant to work with [[Calder Kerian|Calder]] in the game along with this, an outraged Occeus messages the sea dweller. Calder tersely tells Occeus that he's no more involved in the situation than Occeus is, and that they are both powerless to do anything but go along with it. Calder tells Occeus that he will message him again when it's their turn to enter the game even though he too is less than happy with that arrangement, and ceases messaging a fuming Occeus.

Occeus is included in Ellsee's memo, but does not respond to it.

He was later seen after he contacts Jentha, who asks an advice from her as a transmission coming from [[Hamifi Hekrix|Hamifi]] suddenly pops up. Occeus engages in a tense conversation with her as Hamifi reminds him that his recent experiments had been dropping for the past few months and if those failures continue, Corporate have no choice but to drop it and give him his payroll.

As the transmission ends, he messages Jentha again telling her that he may have finally reach in his lowest point.

Occeus is included in another memo, this time it's made by Arcjec, but doesn't respond to it.

He was later seen slumped down on his supercomputer as he deals with the buzzing in the back of his mind as the Game's cursor, controlled by Calder, drags him out of his laboratory until they reached the front door as Occeus' lusus attacks the incoming creatures.

=== During the Game ===
In {{VE|1000|[S<nowiki>]</nowiki> Ellsee: Enter.}}, Occeus was seen outside of his hive as his lusus devours the deceased creatures as the buzzing repeats and saw his personal codes. He then summons out his strife specibus, [[Laserkind]], and slices the cross with a Blood symbol engraved on its chest, landing on top of the hive. The portal activates as the cursor drags him inside, along with his assistant.

Neither his land or denizen meeting platform are shown.

Shortly after entering the game, he meets [[Wormwood|his denizen]] who he states {{VE Quote|Occeus|didn't seem t.oo. keen ab.o.ut my presence}} and only refers to him as "Prince", along with calling Occeus "a distruption". This causes Occeus to begin reflecting, and to later send a monologue to [[Ellsee Raines|Ellsee]] apologizing for his behavior and expressing eagerness to see her again, after facing challenges in his land.

== Personality and traits ==
As a scientist and engineer, Occeus is characterized by his empirical outlook on life and how it works. He is ambitious, yet detached, and fiercely dedicated to his work, seeming to doubt himself outside of it.

He works towards the continued survival of his decaying planet and towards undoing the parasitic undead plague that ravages its population in the hope that he can return souls from a supposed entropy, and find the secret of untethered immortality.

Occeus states that he does not understand other people, nor does he feel that they understand him<ref>https://www.deconreconstruction.com/vasterror/1814</ref>, feeling painfully aware of his inability to help people outside of his work as well as do anything aside from what he's been instructed to.

== Relationships ==
=== Rogi ===
[[Rogi]] is Occeus' assistant in his scientific pursuits. The creature was the result of one of Occeus' failed experiments, and is consequently unintelligent and largely useless as a result. However, Occeus doesn't seem to mind so much, and keeps the creature around to help with the grizzlier, more menial parts of his experiments, or perhaps because he appreciates the creature's company.

Due to the unnatural circumstances of Rogi's existence, Rogi's body is unable to maintain itself and requires regular injection of lime blood to continue existing.

=== Ellsee Raines ===
[[Ellsee Raines|Ellsee]] and Occeus are [[Quadrants|matesprits]], and unique to the other relationships in the cast aside from [[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]] and [[Dismas Mersiv|Dismas]] and [[Serpaz Helilo|Serpaz]] and [[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]], have been sexually intimate with one another.

Due to Occeus' workaholic nature and his desperation to preserve his planet, Occeus is unfortunately rather neglectful of Ellsee, leaving her to suffer from symptoms not unlike withdrawal in his absence (as is the case for Repitonian trolls who have been intimate with another and do not see each other for extended periods of time). Occeus regrets this, and realizes that Ellsee deserves better, but will nonetheless prioritize his work over her, until being fired by [[Hamifi Hekrix|Hamifi]] and entering the game, where he apologizes in monologue form.

Ellsee often volunteers the use of her lime blood for Occeus to use in his biological experiments, due to the blood's unique life-bearing properties. Occeus is the only troll that Ellsee trusts with her blood.

Altogether, the tag can refer to his disturbing presence as a whole.
* The '.o.' shape replacing any 'o's in his text is a reference to his three-eyed state, with the two periods being his regular eyes and the 'o' representing his third eye. This places more emphasis on his third eye as opposed to his two regular eyes which could be a way of showing how Occeus is neglecting the mundane things around him in favor of pursuing mysteries and his work. This neglect is clearly shown in Ellsee's state of withdrawal without his presence, as per their coupling.

He was the sixth troll introduced and the final troll properly introduced in [[Vast Error: Act 1|Act 1]]. As a Space player, he is one of the two players meant to usher [[The Game]] to its players along with the session's [[Murrit Turkin|Time player]].

He was the third troll to enter the game.

=== Six Sweeps ===
Laivan used to play SBVRPRPG tournament games with [[Calder Kerian|Calder]] and Arcjec, and they all used to be good friends. This stopped after Arcjec started to become more depressed and distant.

At some point, Laivan met and accidentally shot [[Serpaz Helilo|Serpaz]] in the leg during a hunting trip. This encounter would leave Serpaz permanently disabled and reliant on a leg brace, but would also lead the two to form a strong matespritship.

It was around this time that Laivan met and made a deal with [[White Noise]] with the condition that he will return at a later date and fulfill an [[Green Sun|obligation]] for him. Upon making this deal, Laivan awoke on the moon of [[Prospit]] and became a well-recognized figure on the moon. Eventually spending his nights getting newspapers to give to [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]] upon his awakening so he isn't left in the dark about the dream planet.

=== Pre-Game ===
On the night of the game, Laivan spends much of his time goofing around and playing [[Anthropormuncipality]] with [[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]]. He messages [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]], asking him if he wants to join in as well, which Arcjec declines. During their game, Murrit wanders off to mess with [[Dismas Mersiv|Dismas]] and prepare him for the coming night, before going off to the [[Frog Temple]] next to his hive to observe the [[Nightshade]] within it. Before he leaves, Murrit makes a memo regarding the game and includes everyone (except [[Ellsee Raines|Ellsee]]) in it.

Meanwhile, Laivan takes a nap, waking up on [[Prospit]], as he's done ever since he made a contract with [[White Noise]]. He visits Arcjec, who has yet to wake up. He delivers another Prospitian newspaper to Arcjec's dreamself, in hopes that once he wakes up, he can easily be caught up on being a [[Prospit]] dreamer. Laivan quietly wishes that Arcjec had woken up sooner, wondering if he might have been a happier person if he did. As he gives a reassuring pap to Arcjec's dreamself, the [[dreamself]] glitches out briefly, momentarily turning into his younger, less-depressed self. Laivan is freaked out by this.

He is then intercepted by White Noise and taken into [[The Static]]. The two speak for a time and reflect on the purpose of the game and its existence, and how the trolls are destined to play it but are ultimately destined to fail to meet its purpose. Noise notes that their destined failure does not necessarily mean they will be faced with inevitable defeat. They also reflect on why Laivan took Noise's deal, with Laivan simply stating that the deal would give him a purpose. White Noise then gives Laivan the essence of his soul: a medallion with the {{Green Sun|link}} contained within, telling him that he must return it to its source for the sake of the perpetuation of reality. As Laivan puts on the {{Green Sun}} medallion, he finds himself unable to breathe, and White Noise uses his abilities to send Laivan away.

Laivan is then awoken by his dog [[lusus]]: Mutt. After making sure he still has the medallion, he answers a message from his matesprit: [[Serpaz Helilo]]. The two lovers discuss Murrit's plans for the night and the fact that it happened to be their anniversary. Serpaz light-heartedly brings up how she and Laivan first met when he accidentally shot her in the leg and left her with a permanent handicap, which makes Laivan visibly uncomfortable, despite Serpaz not being mad about the accident anymore. When the conversation ends, Laivan goes to find some glue to fix his dog's toy. As he is away from his desk, he receives a set of panicked messages from [[Albion Shukra|Albion]], who had recently learned a distressing truth from her lusus.

When Laivan returns, he is unable to get a hold of Albion, and messages Murrit instead, voicing his concern for Albion's well-being and letting Murrit know he met with White Noise. After the Nightshade opens, which leads to the installation of [[The Game]] on everyone's computers. Laivan and Murrit play more Anthropomunicipality in celebration and do a fake high five.

After Arcjec enters the game, Laivan is seen helping [[Taz]] with her entry. The two struggled to find Taz's code set of codes while Laivan continues to play more Anthropomunicipality with Murrit, which infuriates Taz. The two are abruptly pulled into a memo made by [[Ellsee Raines|Ellsee]], who wishes to share her own knowledge of the game in response to being excluded from Murrit's. Laivan is grateful for the prospect of help, but Taz behaves incredulously when she sees that Laivan wasting time with banter. When Taz leaves the memo in a huff, he chides her for burning bridges when they could have used the help. Suddenly, when Taz's back is turned, Taz's lusus succumbs to her natural instincts and jumps into the black ocean depths that neighbor Taz's hive. The large mink monster is very swiftly eaten alive by the deadly fauna below, and its blood reveals the location of Taz's code: in the rocks at the edge of the cliff, hidden by the murky black water. As Taz goes into a grief-driven rage, Laivan asks if Taz is okay, and Taz makes it clear that she does not want to talk about it and that they should move on.

Taz and Laivan make quick work of the entry process, and when it comes time for Taz to unleash her [[Azbogah|denizen]], she has Laivan to put the rusted and locked cage, her [[Paragon Repository]], in her [[Tazsia's hive|Torture Fort]] so that she can go against it on her own terms. Despite trying everything in her power to destroy the cage, as it has a lock with no key, she is forced to ask Laivan for help to fetch her Ferocity Weaver which she left outside in the rush. Laivan obliges and gives it to her, and Taz uses it to channel the full power of her rage and chucklevoodoo to destroy the cage and unleash her denizen. The release of her frustrations on the cage calms Taz back down in the process. The denizen quickly enters the portal and Taz follows suit.

After Taz's entry, Laivan begins preparing for his own, with Murrit as his server player. Laivan questions why Murrit left Ellsee's memo, clearly upset about how poorly she is treated. Murrit doesn't provide an answer, only telling Laivan that he has his reasons and he should trust him. Murrit then begins the entry process.

After Laivan entered [[The Game]], he spoke to the denizen of Space, Haniel, about his life and asked Haniel about whether or not they know about White Noise. After the conversation, the Land of Construct and Deluge was formed as Haniel prompts Laivan to follow them. As they explore the planet, they came across a temple wherein The Cauldron was located and Haniel vaguely explained its true purpose to the Game.

== Personality and traits ==
Laivan is a passive but sociable troll who seems to get along with just about anyone. He is generally very laid back and is somewhat easily distracted. Among Laivan's interests are sharpshooting, taxidermy, playing video games and dogs. If trolls had a concept of furries, Laivan would be one, due to his love and frequent association with dog-like creatures. This further established by his love of drawing original characters based on dogs, he has two as far as we know; one named Figment and one named Abel.

Having a severe lung condition after a malfunction in his artificial birthing process, Laivan's capabilities and choices with what he does in life are inherently limited. However, this doesn't appear to bother him much and makes due with the help of his friends and his beloved dog-lusus, Mutt.

At some point in his youth, Laivan made a deal with White Noise to fulfill some sort of obligation related to the perpetuation of reality. In matters related to these obligations, Laivan tends to take things much more seriously but also gets somewhat impatient. In his conversation with White Noise, Laivan admits that he doesn't really know what he wants out of life and that he largely took White Noise's deal out of a desire for purpose. In the same conversation, Noise characterizes Laivan as pragmatic, caring and constantly listless.

Laivan and [[Serpaz Helilo|Serpaz]] are [[Quadrants|matesprits]] and appear to be as close as two can be. The two met two sweeps prior to the night of [[The Game]] when Laivan accidentally shot Serpaz in the leg during a hunting excursion, which left Serpaz permanently unable to use that leg without a cane or brace. Apparently, they fell in love within the night due to this accident, the absurdity of which is something that does not elude them. Serpaz is evidentially more comfortable with making light of the accident than Laivan is, for obvious reasons.

=== Arcjec Voorat ===
Laivan isn't bothered by [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec's]] cantankerous personality and sardonic demeanor but considers him to be a generally sad person. The two appear to be good friends and their relationship appears to be one of Arcjec's least tumultuous ones. They potentially share some sort of deeper connection, as Laivan frequently visits Arcjec's sleeping dreamself on Prospit and Arcjec's pants match Laivan's blood color.

[[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]] is one of Laivan's closest friends, with the two sharing a passion for Anthropormuncipality and a destiny in leading everyone to play the game they recovered from the Frog Temple. Laivan is one of the few trolls who aren't put off by Murrit's bizarre quirks and even jokingly calls him out on it. Murrit is often more honest around Laivan in turn and does not seem to harass him as harshly as some others, even though he isn't free from it either.

She was told she was the twelfth and final in a line of extraterrestrial prophets known as [[Star Children]], who spanned across several iterations of the [[Solitary Universe]] before the final one containing [[Repiton]]. She was supposedly destined to become a being of complete conciliation known as 'The Pure Oneself'. This was a lie told to her by her [[Star Guardian]] who made a promise to the true twelfth Star Child, [https://vast-error.wikia.com/wiki/Ancestors#The_Exemplar The Exemplar], to raise her under false terms and ensure she represses her emotions to make her more powerful during [[The Game]].

She was the third troll introduced and the sixth troll to enter the game.

==Etymology==
The word ''albion'' refers to the name of a specific advanced equatorium (an instrument used to measure the relative positions of heavenly bodies without calculation) built by Richard of Wallingford in 1326. It was unique in its ability to predict eclipses in addition to being able to calculate lunar, solar and planetary longitudes. Her surname, Shukra, is a Sanskrit word that means "lucid, clear, bright". It is also the name of an ancient sage who counseled Asuras in Vedic mythology, and the term for Venus in Hindu astrology.

Nothing is currently known about who Albion was or what Albion looked like at six sweeps.

=== Pre-game ===
Shortly after her introduction, Albion uses her computer to enter [[The Cell]] after she is messaged by [[Tazsia|Taz]], who'd just dealt with a particularly frustrating exchange with [[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]]. Murrit had told Taz about a strange game he'd help put together and that not only would she have to play, but she was also obligated to do it with [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]], Taz's former friend who had spent the better part of two years avoiding Taz after a bad blow-up between the two. After a mysterious comment made by Albion (albeit one made jokingly),

Taz asks if Albion might know anything about it. Albion states that she does not she does not what Murrit might be planning but knows that the night was of great importance, as it was the night Repiton would finally crumble and the night she was expected to save it. Taz, a staunch non-believer of Albion's prophetic destiny dismisses the notion. Albion then repeats Murrit's sentiment and states that Taz really should try to reach out the Arcjec and finally try to work out their differences, instead of her merely trying to get his attention. Taz continues upset at the suggestion.

Their conversation ends with Albion going over her destiny to merge with her lusus and salvage the remains of Repiton and the remaining troll species. Taz is left confused and concerned for her moirail. Albion later receives Murrit's memo pertaining to the game and its nature. Albion then speaks to her lusus, a [[Star Guardian]], as she prepares herself to merge with it. The Star Guardian then reveals that there's been a change of plan and that Repiton is meant for destruction, not salvation.

Shocked at the horrible realization, Albion reaches out to [[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]], who is unfortunately away from his computer. She is then messaged by her matesprit, [[Sovara Amalie]], concerned over Albion's apparent absence. Albion refuses to reply and involve her in troubles.

Albion is then thrust back into her vision with her lusus, and she demands that the lusus explain itself. The Star Guardian repeats that Repiton is unavoidably doomed and that she is merely destined to leave it. The Star Guardian then tells her that it was fulfilling an obligation to Albion's predecessor -- her [[Ancestors|ancestor]] -- to set events into a course that would allow Albion's ancestor to briefly take control of Albion's body and message [[Dismas Mersiv|Dismas]] telling him of the importance of the events to come, and warn him to not "follow credence of the [[White Noise|man who spins words like yarn]]" and to stop "the [[Ellsee Raines|limeblooded vessel]] to his heart". Albion is seen staring in astonishment in The Cell as her ancestor takes further control and shows her prophetic visions from the past, present, and future. Meanwhile, Albion is included in both Murrit and Ellsee's memos but is unable to respond to them.

She speaks of her own life, and her similar upbringing to Albion's, being told all her life that she was destined to bring about a better future, and similarly taught how to control her emotions; which The Exemplar studiously mastered. As she neared maturity she encountered [[White Noise]] in her meditation and was taken in to help set the proper conditions for the game that Albion and her friends would play, with promises of a grand future, similar to those spoken by her lusus. She speaks about her relationship with [https://vast-error.wikia.com/wiki/Ancestors#The_Vivifier The Vivifier] and their time together during [[The Renaissance]].

The Exemplar used the remains on the power she was granted by White Noise pass on her abilities, as well as her attunement to The Cell and the Star Guardian onto Albion, so she would be able to speak to Albion in her lifetime. She once again warns Albion about The Game, White Noise, and the Vivifier's descendant; Ellsee, insisting that Ellsee be excluded from the game for everyone's sake, knowing that Ellsee will one day be used by White Noise against them. Albion is empathetic to her ancestor's plight but refuses to allow her to decide what's the best course of action for her, citing her lies thus far as a reason to distrust The Exemplar. The Exemplar tells an outraged Albion that she intentionally fed lies to Albion as a means to harden her so she would be better able to protect herself and her friends from what is to come. Furious, Albion punches her ancestor in the face.

The Exemplar looks in horror, not at the aggression Albion showed, but because her former followers had finally found her in the [[Frog Temple]] and were bent on killing her. While The Exemplar is beaten and bleeding, she expresses that she wishes that she could have had more time with Albion before her death to make her understand what she told her, and saying that Albion will end up experiencing more pain than she could ever imagine and that she is sorry for that.

The Star Guardian then instructs Albion to return to her world as they will leave together with the deceased form of The Exemplar to become one with the all mother and truly free. Albion tells them that she still needs help, as she now doesn't know what to do, which they reply that she has friends that share the same problem as hers and they will help her as much as she helps them too and there's a way to fix herself. Albion and The Star Guardian bid farewell to each other as Albion exits The Cell.

She quickly messages Sovara and apologizes to her for not responding earlier, then mentions that she doesn't want the position anymore. She apologizes once more as she was scared as to what Sova would feel about the whole ordeal. Sovara quickly tells her that she wanted to be upset about it but cannot bring to do so, as she has taught her so many things that got her as to what she currently is and tells her that she loves her, which she too agrees.

== Personality and Traits ==
Albion is a friendly and personable troll who has been noted as her friends' resident shoulder to cry on in times of need. When first introduced, she is a strong believer in the forces of fate and destiny. Having been told all her life that she is the twelfth and final incarnation in a line of inter-dimensional and extraterrestrial line of prophets, she's learned to take great stock in various forms of mystical and religious powers by keeping her body chemistry evened out. She also took great pride in crafting stories from the stars and crafting them in Repitonian Pre-Text to keep up the old traditions of planetary folklore. She has a thing for scented candles and bath bomb-like items called 'glop enhancers' as well. She also regularly translates scrolls for [[Sovara Amalie]].

Prior to the events of the game, Albion was very excited for the promised day where will salvage Repiton and her friends from the end of the world (this day would actually end up being the day that she and her friends are meant to leave to enter the game).

Upon discovering the truth of her supposed destiny and the fact that her Star Guardian had been lying to her all her life as a promise to her Ancestor. Albion is understandably outraged; outraged for the first time in many sweeps, even going through an identity crisis. She is further upset when she learns that her ancestor deliberately set up these lies as a means of conditioning Albion to be more powerful and as a means to prepare her for what is to come. While still kindly and empathetic, Albion shows are more aggressive and violent side of her personality, especially when she is speaking with her Ancestor.

Albion is in a Moraillegence with [[Tazsia Poemme|Taz]], although their relationship fluctuates part-time into Auspisticism with [[Occeus Coliad|Occeus]] on occasion. Taz has stated that she finds Albion to be a "special kind of scary" and "perfect". Albion is notable among Taz's close relationships in that she is the only troll who is able to placate Taz's aggression, with Taz being outright gentle and thoughtful when interacting with Albion. Taz herself isn't sure how Albion manages to do this.

Taz has specifically stated that she does not share Albion's religious beliefs and more or less thinks of them to be horseshit. This is likely due to Taz's own beliefs within the Mirthamaniacs.

Albion regularly translates the ancient scrolls that Sova finds. It has been confirmed that the two are unbonded, as they are still relatively new to being in a relationship.

Due to the circumstances of their meeting, Albion is very angry and distrustful of her ancestor, [[Ancestors#The Exemplar|the Exemplar]] (a.k.a. Cyprim Shukra). The Exemplar uses [[the Cell]] to speak to Albion from her own time period, in an attempt to provide words of warning and advice to Albion in regards to The Game, but Albion -- having just learned that her lusus had lied to her her whole life, and that The Exemplar was responsible for all of it -- is outraged at her ancestor's lies and initially refuses to listen to her. Albion is however, sympathetic to her ancestor's plight after she is told of her life. Albion is further outraged when she learns that her ancestor was intentionally conditioning her to suppress her emotions through and hide herself away so her rage would be more potent.

The Exemplar views her descendant in a somewhat maternal manner. Having been given the ability to see the future by White Noise, The Exemplar was shown the pain and suffering that Albion and her friends would go through in their lifetime, greater than any pain that the Exemplar would go through in her own life. Having been lied to and betrayed by those her she served and worked with, the Exemplar seeks to protect and prepare her descendant, through any means necessary, in hopes that her descendant can avoid her own pain from the very same people. When the Exemplar is found and killed by her former followers in her own time, The Exemplar expresses regret over not having had the chance to spend more time with Albion, and that she is sorry about all the pain Albion will endure.

Her associated alchemic sigil is Mercury and her horns are long, thin and sharp. They are a deconstruction of the "All Important Plot Character" fantroll archetype, and they are the most important character in ''[[Vast Error]] ''according to [[White Noise]].

She, her [[Ancestors|ancestor]], and [[Lusus#Chimera lusus|her lusus]] are the only beings on [[Repiton]] to have ever had lime colored blood. Their blood has potent life-bearing properties and could be the secret towards gaining untethered immortality as expressed by [[Occeus Coliad|Occeus]]. It could also potentially carry some sort of curse to those who have the blood in their system.

She was the seventh troll introduced and the first troll introduced in [[Vast Error: Act 2|Act 2]]. She was also the twelfth and final troll to enter the game.

Ellsee is first introduced at the start of [[Vast Error: Act 2|Act 2]], where they are sitting in their [[Ellsee's hive|tent/hive]]. She receives a message from her [[Quadrants|matesprit]] [[Occeus Coliad|Occeus]], who she had messaged days ago and has only just responded. The two discuss the implications of Occeus' possible breakthrough in his work, apologizing for neglecting Ellsee. He emphasizes the importance of his work to revitalize the planet, and Ellsee voices support, but is left feeling insecure. Out of a feeling of inadequacy and loneliness, they reach out to [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]], asking him if they are likeable. Arcjec, despite insisting that he's the last person anyone should seeking out for advice, offers some anyway. The conversation leads to Ellsee to find the resolve to finally meet Arcjec in person and introduce herself properly.

After arriving at [[Arcjec's hive]], Ellsee tries to get his attention at his window by throwing a rock. The shock of seeing an unknown troll at his window leads Arcjec to fall out of his second floor window into the mud below and passing out.

Ellsee loses her nerve and has started to walk home, but quickly circles back around when she sees that a meteor is flying towards it. They find his hive in shambles, but bizarrely mostly intact, with Arcjec nowhere to be found. She then learns of the game and the fact that [[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]] had intended to exclude her from it. They return to their hive and reach out to Occeus again in a panic. Occeus tries to comfort a distressed Ellsee until he reads the memo himself.

Occeus is distressed at the absurdity, yet possible reality of the situation presented by [[The Game]] and the fact that it necessitates abandoning [[Repiton]] and making all his work to save it irrelevant. Having learned that he's meant to work with [[Calder Kerian]] in the game, an outraged Occeus messages the sea dweller. As Occeus fumes, Ellsee is left in the dark. She messages Murrit for answers, but he coldly tells her that he knows that she cannot be trusted, and for everyone else's sake, that she should get lost. Realizing that they won't be getting any help for the time being, they try to forget that conversation.

Shortly after, Ellsee message Arcjec and is relieved when she gets a response from him. The two discuss the events of the night, with Ellsee forced to admit that they know more than they've let on to Arcjec. As the conversation ends, Arcjec tells Ellsee that when things have calmed down, they should meet and just hang out, and that she should tell him what she's been meaning to say.

Ellsee makes their own memo and pointed includes everyone, attempting to share their own knowledge of the game that they obtained through a cryptic old book they inherited from their [[Ancestors|ancestor]]. [[Sovara Amalie|Sova]] chimes in with her own theories and mentions that she has encountered similarly cryptic scrolls that appear to pertain to the game as well. However, Murrit immediately leaves the memo after it is made, and Calder and [[Tazsia|Taz]] don't take long to follow suit out of their own dislike of Ellsee. Additionally, the whole memo quickly goes off topic. [[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]] later mentions to Murrit that Ellsee had told Laivan that she was quite personally hurt when Murrit left the memo.

They later frantically messaged Occeus, telling him that after they had responded to him, they went to Arcjec's hive again only to find out that his hive is in shambles and a huge meteor was heading towards it. She then tells him that she quickly went inside, in hopes of finding and save him only to find out that he was nowhere to be seen and his lusus was screaming for his owner. They also tell him about Murrit's memo that they had been excluded from, the Game, and that he will be working with Calder.

Ellsee is included in Arcjec's memo and angrily responds to Murrit's message.

=== During the game ===
Ellsee has entered the game as of "[S] Ellsee: Enter."; however neither her land or platform are shown.

Ellsee appeared in one of Murrit's flashbacks, wherein they were doing a ritual before an unknown event had happened, which made Murrit scared of them and decide to keep them out of the game.

Finally, Ellsee is on screen again not too long after the start of [[Vast Error: Act 3, Act1|Act 3 Act 1]], where they participate in Arcjec's memo. Though she doesn't respond until she's tagged by Arcjec, who demands to know where she is and what she's doing. Ellsee reveals that after all of the portal hopping they'd been doing, they were exhausted and took a nap in the snow in their land. Later in the memo, they talk to Occeus about the work they had done together to work towards making Repiton more liveable, and if that work meant anything.

After, a flashback is shown of what Ellsee was up to before the memo started. Her land is finally named the [[Land of Vigor and Tundra]], and she proceeds to fall asleep on the snow, just like she said she did.

Ellsee dreams of the past, when they lived with Arcjec, and the things they did together. Ellsee and Arcjec are shown dancing together before Arcjec stumbles, causing them both to fall down in a fit of laughter. Arcjec says he's hungry, so the two of them go and get food. Ellsee discusses how she forages for food, and Arcjec lightheartedly argues that the natural food she brought is gross. Ellsee insists that they prefer their organic foods over Arcjec's processed food, and the conversation shifts. Arcjec compliments Ellsee's new look, saying that it's coming along nicely and that it suits them. She's is very happy about this, and she states that she agrees. Ellsee briefly mentions that it took her a while to find a look she was comfortable with, but that she's happy with her appearance now. The topic changes and they discuss Arcjec's cancelled plans, which he seems to be unbothered by. Ellsee talks about how they wish they could go with Arcjec, but they're not allowed to. The two of them go back and forth about Arcjec being allowed to go to the stronghold while Ellsee has to stay at home, and Arcjec suggests sneaking them out. They decline the offer, saying they'd both get in trouble, and Arcjec agrees that they're probably right. Ellsee stays silent for a moment while Arcjec draws. Finally, she asks them how they're always okay with everything, including bad things like their cancelled plans. Arcjec thinks for a moment, before saying that he doesn't have an answer. He says that he just is the way he is, and Ellsee is just the way she is, and that's okay. Ellsee reveals that she wishes she was more like them, since they have friends and get to go out and do things. Arcjec argues that those are their friends too, but Ellsee insists that they're only really there for him. Arcjec doesn't let that slide, however, and he proceeds to talk about how Ellsee is great. He promises that even if everyone else forgets how amazing they are, he won't. Arcjec stumbles over their words, but tells Ellsee that they're a family, which makes her happy.

Ellsee's dream is promptly interrupted by White Noise. They fall into [[The Static]], where they see Bonehilda and Boner, and finally White Noise himself. He asks if Ellsee remembers him, but she just gets startled. She throws her staff at him, causing his left arm to fall off.

==Personality and Traits==
Ellsee is a rather eclectic troll with similarly eclectic interests. She is a practitioner of potion-crafting and various forms of magic. They are however a strong opponent of fortune telling and considers anyone who claims any knowledge of the future to be a charlatan, despite having possibly practised it themself in the past. She is also a dancer by trade.

As the only living troll on Repiton to have her blood color, she lives a nomadic life on the road, discretely avoiding the undue attention of anyone who would want to get their hands on her blood's life-giving properties. This kind of life has led them to become a staunch survivalist.

The neglect she faces from Occeus' workaholic tendencies have lead her to become somewhat insecure, exacerbated by the natural physical withdrawal she faces as a result of her not seeing her partner in some time (a result of sexual intimacy in Repitonian trolls).

===Occeus Coliad===
[[Occeus Coliad|Occeus]] is Ellsee's [[Quadrants|matesprit]], and they are one of the few trolls in the cast to have been sexually intimate with one another.

Due to Occeus' workaholic nature and his desperation to preserve his planet, Occeus is unfortunately rather neglectful of Ellsee, leaving them to suffer from symptoms not unlike withdrawal in his absence (as is the case for Repitonian trolls who have been intimate with another and do not see each other for extended periods of time). Occeus regrets this, and realizes that Ellsee deserves better, but will nonetheless prioritize his work over her. This neglect has left Ellsee to feel increasingly insecure in Occeus' absence.

Ellsee often volunteers the use of her lime blood for Occeus to use in his biological experiments, due to the blood's unique life-bearing properties. Occeus is the only troll that Ellsee trusts with her blood.

===Arcjec Voorat===
Ellsee is not bothered by [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec's]] cantankerous attitude or even his depressive apathy, and seems to be genuinely fond of him, to the point that they actually find his insults to be kind of funny. She is even comfortable enough to reach out to Arcjec for advice despite Arcjec insisting that he isn't the best moral support (he tries to give her advice anyway).

The two appear to share some sort of deeper connection that Arcjec isn't aware of. Ellsee often tries to introduce themself to him, but regularly fails to do so out of nervousness. It's worth noting that their ancestors had known each other in life.

[[Tazsia|Taz]] and Ellsee do not like each other, and it is implied there may be some black feelings shared between the two. Ellsee is quite annoyed when she has to think or interact with Taz, and Taz appears especially impatient with Ellsee.

[[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]] appears to greatly dislike or distrust Ellsee for reasons unknown to her, to the point that he actively tries to keep them out of the game.

Like pretty much all the other female trolls, and all the other trolls in general, Ellsee does not like [[Calder Kerian|Calder]] and considers him to be a chauvinistic prick. Calder is demeaning and talks down to Ellsee at any opportunity, refusing to let her prove her worth.

In the Pre-Game, the two had reached into an agreement with Ellsee providing any means of information that can help them win the Game in exchange, Calder will make sure that Ellsee is included and wanted in any situation the trolls are in.

Laivan and Ellsee are longtime friends, and the two are on amicable terms. Laivan is very upset when people mistreat her and belittle her, and is willing to come to her defense when others put her down or ignore her.

She was the tenth troll introduced and the fourth troll properly introduced in [[Vast Error: Act 2|Act 2]]. She was also the seventh troll to enter the game.

Serpaz, when translated from Kurdish, means 'the serpent'. ''Ser paz'' is Spanish for "to be peace". Helilo, when translated from Estonian, means 'soundtrack'. It could also come from 'helio', the Greek word for sun, since in alchemy the Sun is heavily linked with gold.

Serpaz was once the kismesis of [[Calder Kerian]], and was evidently a positive fixture in the sea-dweller's life. However, at some point, the two ended their relationship. Some time after this, she was accidentally shot in the leg by [[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]] during one of his hunting excursions. The incident would change Serpaz's life forever, as it would lead her to be permanently disabled, but also lead her to meet the love of her life. She was also somehow acquainted with [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]] during this time, and notably knew him prior to the event that led to his current depressive demeanor.

=== Pre-Game ===
After her introduction and playing the accordian, she is suddenly messaged by [[Edolon Vryche]], who claims to want to help her. Serpaz declines. Soon after this, she messages her friend [[Sovara Amalie|Sova]], and then [[Albion Shukra|Albion]]. After speaking to the two, she opens her front door to be greeted by Edolon, who she closes the door on. He manages to enter her hive regardless which makes Serpaz upset. She proceeds to shoot him with her nail gun, threatening to shoot him more if he doesn't leave. Edolon ends up picking Serpaz up and slamming her onto the ground, then shows her the damage the creatures have caused to her hive.

Serpaz is included in Arcjec's memo, but doesn't respond. This is likely because she was dealing with Edolon at the time.

Later on, we see the creatures have tied Serpaz to her wall as Edolon messages Albion through Serpaz's laptop. Serpaz manages to break free of The Creatures grasp, and equips a fire gun. After lighting her paragon repository with it and releasing her denizen, Edolon shows Serpaz her entry codes. These actions activate her entry portal.

Later, in "[S] Ellsee: Enter.", Serpaz is seen trying to fight off Edolon only to get distracted by her lusus, who was captured and bound by the creatures. Edolon takes advantage of her being distracted and pushes her into to her entry portal. He snarkly bids farewell to her as she's falling through with a distressed look.

Serpaz is shown going through her entry portal as well as being on her planet, however her platform has not been shown.

In a memo created by Arcjec, Serpaz tells everyone that when she had met her denizen it had begun laughing at her, which made her feel distraught at first. After a moment, though, she started laughing along with him. Serpaz also states that it seems 'Omenbeasts', a mythic creature on repiton (known as horses to the viewers), are very real on her planet. This implied her consorts are omenbeasts/horses, which is later confirmed. She also described her land as having "winding canyons."

== Personality and Traits ==
Serpaz is a very upbeat and generally lighthearted troll even in the worst of situations. Her ecstatic and jokey nature carry her through most of her conversations, and she's amazing at improv banter. She's someone who believes mistakes can turn into miracles. While she's definitely a mostly positive influence, she doesn't seem to have an understanding of how negative emotions affect others, lacking empathy. Her mindset is infused with toxic positivity and she can easily make others uncomfortable as a result of this. Her inability to be empathetic is caused by her lusus, Lefty, who feeds on any and all negative emotions Serpaz experiences, keeping her constantly happy and preventing her from handling her own emotions.

She's a lover of stand up comedy, puns and all sorts of light-hearted tomfoolery. She considers herself a stand-up comedian on her own right, albeit one of middling quality. Among her favorite comedians are Troll Jerry Seinfeld, Troll John Mulaney, Troll Robin Williams, Troll Dave Chappelle and formerly; Troll [[Weird Al]].

She's an aspiring architect and carpenter, constantly works towards outdoing her greatest project. However she tends to take a lot of breaks while working and has a habit of never finishing her ambitious projects because of how many ideas she has. Along with this she has a bad habit of accidentally hurting herself over and over again while on the job.

She is also an amateur accordion player but pretends to not enjoy it to reduce the temptation of playing it and cursing herself to a conversation with Edolon, who she obtained it from. Her lusus, Lefty, loves it though.

Serpaz is very fond of her Compecado lusus, and the two appear to be very close. Lefty was shown to be very protective of Serpaz when she was shot by Laivan and attempted to attack him and Mutt for hurting her.

Lefty sucks out any negative emotions Serpaz experiences, as shown after her first conversation with Edolon.

=== Laivan Ferroo ===
[[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]] and Serpaz are [[Quadrants|matesprits]] and appear to be as close as two can be. The couple met two sweeps prior to the night of [[The Game]], when Laivan accidentally shot Serpaz in the leg during a hunting excursion, which left Serpaz permanently unable to use that leg without a cane or brace. Apparently, they fell in love within the night due to this accident, the absurdity of which is something that does not elude them. Serpaz is evidently more comfortable with making light of the accident than Laivan is, for obvious reasons.

=== Calder Kerian ===
[[Calder Kerian|Calder]] and Serpaz were previously in a [[Quadrants|kismessitude]]. Prior to the end of their relationship, she used to push Calder to try new hobbies to get out of his own head. Her associated alchemic sigil is Gold and she is the Witch of Doom. Her three horns all point outward from her head, with the central horn pointing frontwards.

Serpaz is based off of the "Comedic Relief" fantroll archetype.

She was the tenth troll introduced and the fourth troll properly introduced in [[Vast Error: Act 2|Act 2]]. She was also the seventh troll to enter the game.

==Etymology==
Serpaz, when translated from Kurdish, means 'the serpent'. ''Ser paz'' is Spanish for "to be peace". Helilo, when translated from Estonian, means 'soundtrack'. It could also come from 'helio', the Greek word for sun, since in alchemy the Sun is heavily linked with gold.

== Biography ==

=== Six Sweeps ===
Serpaz was once the kismesis of [[Calder Kerian]], and was evidently a positive fixture in the sea-dweller's life. However, at some point, the two ended their relationship. Some time after this, she was accidentally shot in the leg by [[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]] during one of his hunting excursions. The incident would change Serpaz's life forever, as it would lead her to be permanently disabled, but also lead her to meet the love of her life. She was also somehow acquainted with [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]] during this time, and notably knew him prior to the event that led to his current depressive demeanor.

=== Pre-Game ===
After her introduction and playing the accordian, she is suddenly messaged by [[Edolon Vryche]], who claims to want to help her. Serpaz declines. Soon after this, she messages her friend [[Sovara Amalie|Sova]], and then [[Albion Shukra|Albion]]. After speaking to the two, she opens her front door to be greeted by Edolon, who she closes the door on. He manages to enter her hive regardless which makes Serpaz upset. She proceeds to shoot him with her nail gun, threatening to shoot him more if he doesn't leave. Edolon ends up picking Serpaz up and slamming her onto the ground, then shows her the damage the creatures have caused to her hive.

Serpaz is included in Arcjec's memo, but doesn't respond. This is likely because she was dealing with Edolon at the time.

Later on, we see the creatures have tied Serpaz to her wall as Edolon messages Albion through Serpaz's laptop. Serpaz manages to break free of The Creatures grasp, and equips a fire gun. After lighting her paragon repository with it and releasing her denizen, Edolon shows Serpaz her entry codes. These actions activate her entry portal.

Later, in "[S] Ellsee: Enter.", Serpaz is seen trying to fight off Edolon only to get distracted by her lusus, who was captured and bound by the creatures. Edolon takes advantage of her being distracted and pushes her into to her entry portal. He snarkly bids farewell to her as she's falling through with a distressed look.

Serpaz is shown going through her entry portal as well as being on her planet, however her platform has not been shown.

In a memo created by Arcjec, Serpaz tells everyone that when she had met her denizen it had begun laughing at her, which made her feel distraught at first. After a moment, though, she started laughing along with him. Serpaz also states that it seems 'Omenbeasts', a mythic creature on repiton (known as horses to the viewers), are very real on her planet. This implied her consorts are omenbeasts/horses, which is later confirmed. She also described her land as having "winding canyons."

== Personality and Traits ==
Serpaz is a very upbeat and generally lighthearted troll even in the worst of situations. Her ecstatic and jokey nature carry her through most of her conversations, and she's amazing at improv banter. She's someone who believes mistakes can turn into miracles. While she's definitely a mostly positive influence, she doesn't seem to have an understanding of how negative emotions affect others, lacking empathy. Her mindset is infused with toxic positivity and she can easily make others uncomfortable as a result of this. Her inability to be empathetic is caused by her lusus, Lefty, who feeds on any and all negative emotions Serpaz experiences, keeping her constantly happy and preventing her from handling her own emotions.

She's a lover of stand up comedy, puns and all sorts of light-hearted tomfoolery. She considers herself a stand-up comedian on her own right, albeit one of middling quality. Among her favorite comedians are Troll Jerry Seinfeld, Troll John Mulaney, Troll Robin Williams, Troll Dave Chappelle and formerly; Troll [[Weird Al]].

She's an aspiring architect and carpenter, constantly works towards outdoing her greatest project. However she tends to take a lot of breaks while working and has a habit of never finishing her ambitious projects because of how many ideas she has. Along with this she has a bad habit of accidentally hurting herself over and over again while on the job.

She is also an amateur accordion player but pretends to not enjoy it to reduce the temptation of playing it and cursing herself to a conversation with Edolon, who she obtained it from. Her lusus, Lefty, loves it though.

Serpaz is very fond of her Compecado lusus, and the two appear to be very close. Lefty was shown to be very protective of Serpaz when she was shot by Laivan and attempted to attack him and Mutt for hurting her.

The couple met two sweeps prior to the night of [[The Game]], when Laivan accidentally shot Serpaz in the leg during a hunting excursion, which left Serpaz permanently unable to use that leg without a cane or brace. Apparently, they fell in love within the night due to this accident, the absurdity of which is something that does not elude them.
