They were the fifth troll introduced and the fourth player to enter the game. As a Time player, it was part of his initial duty to kick-start [[The Game]]'s entry process and make sure all of his fellow players were ready to join, along with the session's [[Laivan Ferroo|Space player]].

==Etymology==
The surname Turkin could be a reference to [[wikipedia:Valentin Turkin|Valentin Turkin (1887-1958)]], a Russian screenwriter and critic. This can be loosely related to Murrit's general interest in pop culture and propensity to record her friends' daily lives.

==Biography==

===Early Life===
During their time in school, Murrit was a part of the seadweller-specific classes, which put them under the designation of "honor student". Despite this, he was a notable troublemaker, frequently targeting [[Dismas Mersiv]] with his various antics. He silently tailed Dismas and [[Albion Shukra]] in their mission to get [[Jentha Briati]] out of her mould, convincing the three to let him join them in the yard. After Murrit shoved Dismas off a piece of playground equipment, Jentha was greatly upset, causing her to have a survival ability meltdown, which resulted in the death of many students and staff at the school, as well as the disappearance and presumed death of Dismas.

Murrit proceeded to take full blame for the incident and was expelled by [[The Principal|the Principal]]. They journeyed in exile until eventually finding a tropical island to settle down on.

For a time following their expulsion, Murrit took to selling pieces of the [[Frog Temple|ruins]] near their [[Murrit's hive|hive]] in order to get by. At around 4.5 sweeps old, they struck a deal with [[White Noise]] to rebuild the temple and notify his group of friends after he finished, in exchange for being awakened on the moon of [[Derse]], where he was apprehended by a group of con men known as [[Dead Shufflers|the Dead Shufflers]] and held hostage against the [[Black Queen]]. The game's Jack Noir, known as [[Scathing Sharper]], quickly took a liking to Murrit and as such acted as a sort of mentor to her, teaching her how they operated and turning her into a feared member of their gang, and in her waking life, a feared member of the remaining seadweller hierarchy.

Some time afterward, Murrit played a fateful virtual poker game within which they reunited with Dismas, prompting them to sell the Shufflers out into servitude or hiding and completely recreate their personality from scratch into an eccentric, sleazy front. The two entered into a [[Quadrants#Kismesissitude.2FCaliginous Quadrant .E2.99.A0|kismesissitude]] after some time, working as partners with Dismas as a hitman, and later, Murrit would lead Dismas to a destitute Jentha, reuniting the two who would then become [[Quadrants#Moirallegiance.2FPale Quadrant .E2.99.A6|moirails]].

At an unspecified point after this and before the events of the story, Murrit watched on his monitors as [[Ellsee Raines]] attempted a ritual that went horribly wrong. The things Murrit saw shook them to their core, causing them to dedicate effort to excluding her from the upcoming game.

=== Act 1 ===
On the night of [[The Game]], Murrit spends most of his time preparing and organizing his plans to get everyone into the game successfully, pushing everyone along accordingly. This includes {{VE|59|attempting to explain the circumstances to}} [[Taz Poemme]] in the most excruciating manner possible, {{VE|117|re-explaining their past in relation to White Noise to Dismas}} as he is led outside by Murrit to be filmed fighting his [[Lusus#Skulltitan Lusus|lusus]], {{VE|159|spying on their friends}} on their various CRT monitors, and playing a [[Anthropormunicipality|different game]] with a [[Laivan Ferroo|friend]] to pass the time.

Murrit eventually makes his way back to the Frog Temple, which he has labeled and desecrated as his "hentai dungeon", {{VE|231|after navigating a series of elaborate traps}} designed by himself to keep him on his toes. In the temple, along with [[Narayan Code|several runes]] is a giant closed flower pod on a pedestal with a timer counting down, minutes from completion. Being a bit early for the big reveal, Murrit fetches their Doncamaticomp from their [[Sylladex#Surveillance|fetch modus]], answering a message from [[Laivan Ferroo]] about the current state of preparation for the game. {{VE|242|Murrit promises to play a game of Anthropormunicipality with Laivan}} as the countdown on the flower pod's pedestal ends.

The flower opens and lets out a bright beam of light that splits into twelve, forcefully installing The Game on the main cast's computers. This prompts Taz to message Murrit in frustrated confusion before being told outright to figure it out herself.

Not long after, {{VE|265|Murrit sends a mass memo}} to the main cast (with the exception of Ellsee) informing them of the nature of The Game. {{VE|357|They then receive a message}} from who they think to be Arcjec, though it's revealed to be Ellsee messaging them through Arcjec's Skorpe account, demanding to know what was going on and why she was excluded. Murrit proceeds to drop his quirk and sharply demand that she stay away away from the rest of the cast and the game if she actually cares about any of them, ceasing to message her further.

During {{VE|310|2=[S] Arcjec: Enter.}}, Murrit is shown playing aforementioned rounds of Anthropormunicipality with Laivan as promised.

=== Act 2 ===
Murrit was included in Ellsee's memo, but immediately withdrew from it. After the memo, Laivan messages Murrit asking why she left, to which Murrit asks that Laivan just trust them on it.

The scene switches to Murrit's Boobdrone (Based Occulatory Operation Buddy Drone) harassing Dismas, half submerged in a stream with a broken arm after the recent altercation with his lusus, with its auto chatter function. Not long after, the automatic function shuts off and Murrit returns, piloting the drone. In an effort to make Dismas feel better and get him to move, they bring Jentha into a [[Skorpe]] call, who proceeds to heavily chastise Murrit for telling her Dismas had been killed in order to get her to join the call in the first place. Murrit has another Boobdrone push an ore-powered minecart onto the nearby rails, hoisting Dismas onto it to get him back to his hive in order to be Murrit's server player.

Later, on the sandy beach in front of her hive, Murrit's entrance into the game is put in jeopardy{{VE|675}}. Their paragon repository is trapped in a cube of ice, unable to be melted in time to release their [[Denizen]] before the meteor hits. Suddenly, the ice block and the hourglass inside it shatter, unleashing the [[Gusion|Denizen of Time]] inside. {{VE|684|As Murrit rushes into the portal}}, after him, [[Weird Al|two]] [[Edolon Vryche|characters]] are shown, one with [[Narayan Code|symbols]] in the color of the [[Aspect#Time|Time aspect]] on his palms.

After his entry, {{VE|980|Murrit is shown having an argument}} with [[Metatron]] regarding the Game and White Noise on the [[Land of Wave and Record]] as his [[consorts]] watch. Murrit questions Metatron's ties to White Noise, asking if they weren't playing their part in setting up the game correctly, citing their view on killing off [[Ellsee Raines|a part of the group]] to keep the rest of them safe. Metatron replies that if they'd actually kill her, their entire session would fail, to which Murrit replies that they weren't made aware of. Metatron presses Murrit to describe what he saw, accompanied by a flashback of Ellsee's ritual gone wrong, something White Noise had not been able to see before.

===Act 3 Act 1===
In the reopened memo, Murrit ignores multiple tags from [[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]] only to respond at the last minute, deflecting accusations and banning themself from the memo to avoid further questioning. She's then shown bringing several personal items onto her planet via Boobdrones while having a conversation with [[Tee Hanos]], one of her [[Planets|planet]]'s consorts. Tee Hanos reveals Murrit's responsibility of the ruination of the [[Land of Wave and Record]], giving a warning that if they didn't undo the damage, the platypus consorts would have their head.

Tee Hanos entrusts Murrit with the last S-Grade resource on the planet, a Time Fractal, which is imbued with pure Time essence by Gusion himself. Murrit proceeds to call up Metatron for his crafting services, having him add up all the loot they obtained in their time as a member of the Dead Shufflers, rocketing their level up to 13 immediately. She then spends time making a large variety of items, outfits, weapons, and a new hairstyle to boot. He then uses the Time Fractal as well as all his other remaining resources {{VE|2184|to craft the Retrogauntlet}}, a device that allows him to directly interact with and learn from the past. In {{VE|2190|2=[S] Murrit: REW/FFD}}, she uses the Retrogauntlet to travel back in time and follow his path of undoing the damage. After destroying what appears to be robots in the distant past on the planet, they travel to an unruined version of the same planet named Land of Waves, Recording. She wanders around the planet and comes across an old temple, in which they find a room with {{VE|2185|the Duodechaxiom}}, it's screen glowing purple with the eye of [[Mimesis]].

===Alt!Murrit===
In an [[Known_Probabilities#Alt.21Murrit:_FAST-FORWARD.|alternate probability]], instead of crafting the Retrogauntlet, Alt!Murrit follows the advice of a [[Mimesis|certain someone]], creating a device that allows for the viewing of and interaction with the infinite branches of the probable future: {{VE|2185|the Duodechaxiom}}. {{VE|2188|Tee Hanos remarks on this choice}}, claiming that Alt!Murrit is straying from their path, to which Alt!Murrit retorts by claiming that they're just going to make their own.

In {{VE|2190|2=[S] Murrit: REW/FFD}}, Alt!Murrit uses the Duodechaxiom to view all branches of the future, and it can be assumed she travels to the future of his own session. In their session, as explained in a later conversation, the [[Land of Construct and Deluge#The Cauldron|Magnum Opus]] was {{VE quote|murrit|>([busted from the start]}}, leaving their only remaining option to be fighting [[Gaiaeon]] head-on. Even with everyone having achieved all the preparation they could muster, everyone but Alt!Murrit was killed in the battle. With no other choice, they run away into Gaiaeon's last blind spot, that being [[Land of Murk and Quagmire]].

{{VE|2105|Alt!Murrit is first seen messaging Laivan}} from her session's Land of Murk and Quagmire in an echo of a conversation between Dismas and the true Murrit shown a few pages prior. Alt!Murrit is shown at the end of their probability, covered in Ellsee's blood and having achieved self-actualization. Laivan dismisses Alt!Murrit's claims as a bit to get under his skin, attempting to brush her off until she pleads that this is all she has left, to which Laivan relents. In this conversation, Alt!Murrit tells Laivan about her probability and it's circumstances.

She then goes on to explain the nature of probabilities and everything she learned in her thirty-two nights of playing The Game. They assert that the only probable outcome of their confrontation with Gaiaeon where they reign successful was that of the true timeline, Laivan's timeline, and trusting Laivan to make the right choices before being destroyed by Gaiaeon's scream at the end of the probability.

==Personality and Traits==
Murrit is a troll with a complex and overly esoteric personality, being generally hard to decipher due to his penchant for misdirecting and confusing people on purpose. He presents an over-the-top front of being a skeevy and perverted troll with a love of all forms of debauchery. They deliberately speak in a way that is annoying, slang-filled and inconsistent that often leaves the people they interact with confused and frustrated. Under the surface, however, Murrit is shown to care immensely for her friends, both out of an obligation to get them into the game and actual genuine attachment. They even go as far as making an attempt on one of their lives in what they see as saving the others.

Murrit is very convicted in his beliefs and is notably difficult to sway, as demonstrated by the misunderstanding regarding Ellsee's failed ritual. They show an incredible amount of commitment to everything they do, from their idiosyncrasies to their actual convictions, even (and at times especially) if it is to their own detriment.

Murrit has little to no interest in the hierarchy of blood-castes and sea-dweller nobility. She finds both concepts completely irrelevant and outdated on a dying planet with a critically endangered sea-dweller population (to the frustration of a [[Calder Kerian|certain other magenta-blooded troll]]). True to this disdain for the pecking order, Murrit tries to treat (and mess with) everyone equally, rarely giving anyone any special treatment.

Among Murrit's interests are collecting ancient media (but especially televisions and video tapes), spying on his friends and collecting video footage of their mistakes so that he can make wacky videos for his eyes only, playing [[Anthropormunicipality]] with Laivan, taking apart machines and figuring out how they work and how they can be exploited for his own purposes, antagonizing/helping Dismas, and pretending to be into hentai.

==Relationships==

===Dismas Mersiv===
Murrit and [[Dismas Mersiv|Dismas]] went to school together, where Dismas would frequently be the target of Murrit's horseplay. After the incident and Dismas's disappearance, the two reunited and have been in a [[Quadrants#Kismesissitude.2FCaliginous Quadrant .E2.99.A0|kismesissitude]] ever since. The two worked as partners in a presumably illegal capacity in the past, with Dismas acting as Murrit's hitman of sorts.

Murrit appears to take a tough-love stance towards Dismas, regularly helping Dismas in a roundabout, incomprehensible manner through the use of his Boobdrone and in person. Dismas generally acts like he's completely tired of Murrit's bullshit, but goes along with it anyway and does seem to be able to talk to him without resorting to usual rival-istic behavior.

Murrit's feelings on the relationship differ greatly from what their quadrant designation suggests, and it is confirmed that they actually have a flushed crush on Dismas, who Murrit considers to be the best thing to ever happen to them<ref>{{CiteSocial|whosaid=@deconreconstruction|platform=tumblr|date=Sep 19, 2018|link=https://deconreconstruction.tumblr.com/post/178239638154}}</ref>. However, due to the gravity of this fact and her fear of ruining their relationship due to Repiton's societal and cultural norms surrounding romance, Murrit keeps this a secret.

===Jentha Briati===
[[Jentha Briati|Jentha]] has held a stark animosity for Murrit since the two met in school, being the one to stand up against him when his bullying went too far. However, it was Murrit who reunited Jentha with Dismas sweeps later. She still holds a firm distaste for their character, their idiosyncrasies being especially hard to keep up with due to her myriad of disabilities. Despite this, she still holds a firm ground against Murrit in defense of her moirail.

Generally, she doesn't seem to hate Murrit completely despite their many clashing traits, at most tolerating him.

===Laivan Ferroo===
Before the game, [[Laivan Ferroo|Laivan]] and Murrit were considerably close friends, with the two sharing a passion for Anthropormunicipality and a destiny in leading everyone to play the game they recovered from the Frog Temple. Murrit seems generally more lax around Laivan, giving him a much less difficult time than others and being more willing to divulge to him.

Shortly after the game had begun, however, their dynamic started to see a shift. With Murrit making an attempt on Ellsee's life and refusing to take responsibility, Laivan began to find Murrit much less forgivable or tolerable, leading to a building animosity that saw a peak when Laivan was messaged by Alt!Murrit{{VE|2105}}. Laivan is very short with Murrit in this conversation, chastising her for her behavior and her actions, to which Alt!Murrit insists she literally can't take responsibility for. Only after laying their intentions bare with all the emotional honesty they could muster does Alt!Murrit gain Laivan's begrudging attention.

===Taz Poemme===
[[Taz Poemme|Taz]] is one of the few trolls to elicit any genuine honesty from Murrit, and Murrit calls their relationship a camaraderie of sorts. They both seem to recognize that their respective demeanors are mere posturing in favor of their actual personalities. Murrit wasn't there with Taz during the worst parts of her life, though, which leads him to ponder on what she's been through and whether he could relate to it (a thought he immediately represses on instinct){{VE|2156}}.

===Ellsee Raines ===
Due to Murrit's viewing of an occult ritual to contact her ancestors, Murrit seems to outright fear [[Ellsee Raines|Ellsee]], and distrusts her even more so, to the point that Murrit actively tries to keep her out of the game and makes threats on her life. Ellsee is the only troll who Murrit has referred to by name, rather than a double entendre-rifled, reference-heavy, or insulting nickname.

In Alt!Murrit's conversation with Laivan, however, she claims that she and Ellsee were "close", refusing to talk about her much more than that given her undeniably strong grief surrounding her Ellsee's death.

===Calder Kerian===
Murrit does not like [[Calder Kerian|Calder]] at all. Murrit makes a huge point of annoying or ignoring Calder whenever possible, even basing their "love" and persistence of enjoying hentai to mock his male-centric ideals and hoity toity attitude. Conversely, Calder is frustrated with Murrit's refusal to behave like a proper sea dweller, and regularly tries to boss Murrit around, even though he at one point deeply respected him.

===Arcjec Voorat===
[[Arcjec Voorat|Arcjec]] generally dislikes interacting with Murrit, but appears to trust her regardless, believing her to not be a liar, at least in regards to The Game. Murrit is apparently fond of Arcjec, finding him to be fun and easy to provoke. After Murrit makes an attempt on Ellsee's life, however, Arcjec (much like everyone else) shows a growing contempt for Murrit's refusal to take responsibility or be mature about the situation at all.

===White Noise===
Murrit met [[White Noise]] at about 4.5 sweeps old. White Noise had approached the destined Time player in her dreams and gave her the choice of whether to pursue her destiny or not, clearly outlining the conditions of such a contact would require of Murrit and what it would give her in return. Murrit having been an accomplished gambler and con-man at the time could quickly tell that White Noise was no swindler and was not one to be swindled either. Interested in the prospect of finding their ideal self, Murrit accepted and has worked in tandem with Laivan to fulfill their end of the bargain with White Noise ever since. As part of their deal, Murrit's [[Dream Self]] awoke on [[Derse]], and they've dreamed on Derse ever since.

===The Dead Shufflers===
Murrit was once a member of the [[Dead Shufflers]]. After he awoke on Derse, his [[Dreamself]] was kidnapped by the group in hopes of using him as leverage against the Dersite royalty. However, when their leader, the [[Scathing Sharper]] took a liking to the young Murrit, he invited the seadweller into their fold. Murrit was a natural fit for the cut throat group, and began taking on their activities in their real life as well. However, after reuniting with Dismas, Murrit eventually lost interest in that kind of life, and sold the group out. He hasn't looked back since.

*Murrit's Skorpe handle, {{VE Quote|murrit|unclaspedKahuna}}, is a blatant reference to his played up obsession with breasts. 'unclasped' means something 'revealed' or 'undressed'; 'kahuna' is a euphemism for breasts. The Hawaiian word also ties into their "tropical" design.
*Murrit likely had a different [[Skorpe]] handle in their youth, around the time of Jentha's {{VE|2039|departure from school.}} The handle is only seen once, covered partially by the thumb of the [[The Principal|Principal]]. The uncovered part can be read as "stratagemSl"
**A "stratagem" is an individual element of a larger, more complex plan, generally used in the context of games. This signifies that Murrit was proud of their status as a player of games and author of schemes, a role that they would play throughout the remainder of the story for better or worse.
**Drawing from common themes in online handles, "Sl" could be the start of the word "Slayer," which would entirely reverse the meaning of the handle, instead implying that Murrit is the one to ruin or "slay" plans rather than make them. Given her background, this nickname would not entirely be unwarranted even in her youth.

==Etymology==
Dismas shares a name with [[wikipedia:Penitent thief|Saint Dismas]], the "Penitent Thief" or "Good Thief", possibly as a nod to his [[Class|player class]]. According to the Christian tradition, Saint Dismas was one of the two criminals who died on crosses next to [[wikipedia:Jesus|Jesus]] during the latter's crucifixion.

The name Dismas is also derived from Greek ''δυσμή (dysme),'' meaning "sunset".

==Biography==

===Early Life===
Dismas went to school at the same time as [[Albion Shukra]] and [[Murrit Turkin]], the latter of which constantly subjected him to their antics, getting the two in trouble often. On one such occasion, Dismas was sent to detention for getting into a fight with Murrit, and when attempting to connect to his teacher to write his apology note, he was instead connected to another student: [[Jentha Briati]].

The two quickly became friends over the conversation that followed, which prompted Dismas to intentionally get in trouble the next evening in order to get sent to detention again to be able to message Jentha more. When he got there, however, he was instead messaged by [[The Principal|the Principal]]. They revealed that they were the one who connected Dismas to Jentha in the first place, so that Jentha would have someone she knew when she graduated since she has to spend all her time in a mould of her own due to her condition.

Later that night, Dismas meets Albion at lunch and the two discuss a plan to get Jentha out of her mould and out to the yard to play. This conversation goes overheard by Murrit, who secretly tails the two on their way to Jentha's mould and keeps them from getting caught. They head for the yard with Jentha in tow when Murrit reveals his presence, bragging about how they wouldn't have pulled this off without him and using this as leverage to get them to let him join them. Dismas reluctantly agrees after a fair bit of back-and-forth, and the four head into the yard.

After some time, Dismas gets up on top of a structure, Murrit following soon after to shove him off. This act of animosity greatly upsets Jentha, who shoves Murrit off the structure in turn before exploding with nuclear energy. This outburst attracts a [[Lusus#Skulltitan_lusus|skulltitan]] to the school, which proceeds to kill several other students and staff before reaching the yard. After Jentha inadvertently powers the skulltitan with more energy, Dismas gets its attention to keep it away from Jentha, eventually ending up in its clutches. The Principal arrives on the scene too late to rescue him, instead making a gamble that the skulltitan will bond with Dismas as a lusus and teleporting the two of them to the dunes.

From then on, Dismas was forced to care for his new lusus, going into mines and harvesting radioactive ore in order to feed him.

=== Six Sweeps ===

Later on, Dismas reunites with Murrit through an online game of poker in which he bet and lost his "soul", coming to work for the seadweller as a personal hitman in the process. During this time, he helped them take back the pieces of the [[Frog Temple]] they had sold, as Murrit needed them back in order to fulfill their deal with [[White Noise]]. The two became [[Quadrants#Kismesissitude.2FCaliginous Quadrant .E2.99.A0|kismeses]] over the course of their relationship.

Also during that time, Murrit had pinned down Jentha's location through unknown means, leading Dismas to her under the guise of a hit. Dismas refused to end her life, and eventually the two {{VE Quote|wn|found solace in each other}}, entering a [[Quadrants#Moirallegiance.2FPale Quadrant .E2.99.A6|moirallegiance]].

===Act 1===
Dismas is first introduced inside his respiteblock. He is soon messaged by Murrit, who urges him to go outside in order to help her with her plans to save their friends from planetary annihilation and bring about [[The Game]]. Despite his concerns about dealing with his lusus, Dismas begrudgingly complies.

After leaving his hive, Dismas finds one of Murrit's remote surveillance "boobdrones" waiting for him. Controlled by Murrit, the boobdrone points toward the sky and draws his attention to an incoming meteor, proof that their world-ending claims are true. Moments later, Dismas's angered lusus finds him, and he braces for a confrontation.

Later, Dismas receives a message from Albion while hiding from the Skulltitan inside a cave. Unaware that she is being possessed by her long-dead ancestor, he has a brief conversation with [[Cyprim Shukra]], who warns him not to "lend credence to the [[White Noise|man who spins his words like yarn]]" and tells him to stop the "[[Ellsee Raines|limeblooded vessel]] to his heart". Both statements leave Dismas deeply confused and concerned for his friend.

During the events of {{VE|310|2=[S] Arcjec: Enter.}}, Dismas is shown fighting his lusus. He is knocked off cliff and then shot with a laser-like blast from the Skulltitan's mouth, losing his bandana in the process and hurtling toward a nearby waterfall.

===Act 2===
Some time later, Dismas wakes up at the bottom of the canyon, alive but heavily injured. He's approached by the same boobdrone from earlier and lets Murrit know that he's out of commission, on account of a newly-broken arm. They get into an argument about Murrit's previous actions putting Dismas's in harm's way, all for one of their {{VE Quote|dismas|fun little exploit/\tion numbers}}, but the couple dances around an actual apology. In an effort to make Dismas feel better and get him to move on, Murrit brings his moirail, Jentha, into the call.

After Dismas reassures Jentha about his condition, downplaying his injuries, Murrit states that he's ready for Dismas to act as his server player. Dismas and Jentha are outraged at the suggestion, both due to Dismas's condition and Murrit being entirely at fault for it, but the seadweller manages to talk Dismas into listening to him: he tells them that he's hatched a plan to get Dismas back to his hive using an ore-powered minecart by the nearby rails. Jentha and Dismas are skeptical, but Dismas concedes, due to both a lack of options and Murrit's reassurances that things are {{VE Quote|murrit|>([under control]}}. Dismas is then deposited into the cart and proceeds to {{VE Quote|wn|MELT TRACK}}, boobdrone in tow.

During {{VE|641|2=[S] Engage.}}, Dismas is shown almost falling to his death as he's forced to jump from the mine cart in order to avoid a pile of rocks on its path. Murrit manages to catch him with the boobdrone, safely throwing him inside his hive through a window. She then pushes him down through the ladder that leads into his respiteblock, where Dismas finally manages to help her with her entry.

At some point after Murrit's entry into the Game, Albion messages Dismas in order to assist him. Dismas inquires after her strange behavior from before, a subject she tries to deflect much to his chagrin. She concedes on talking about it later on the promise that he'll let her call him "cowboy", an old childhood nickname, again.

The two friends spend some time working together to figure out his entry codes, without much success. In the midst of an angry tirade, Dismas is visited by [[Weird Al]], who enters his hive through a [[Alchemy|strange portal]]. Weird Al then tears a hole through [[Aspect|Space]], uncovering Dismas's entry codes for him. Seemingly taking over his entry process, Al continues to assist Dismas with the help of a few [[Homunculi|wispy black creatures]].

As the homunculi build Dismas's entry gate, his paragon repository trial activates, binding him and simultaneously taking control of his lusus. Before he has a chance to act, however, Al kills the skulltitan with alchemy, releasing Dismas's denizen and activating his gate. A fuming Dismas is then kicked inside his gate and into [[the Medium]].

During the events of {{VE|1000|2=[S] Ellsee: Enter.}}, Dismas is shown landing on his welcome platform and arguing with his denizen, [[Forcas]].

=== Act 3 Act 1===
Dismas is a part of the memo Arcjec makes after the group's entries into the Medium. He catches up with the other players as they discuss the events of the past day and their progress through the Game so far, explaining the situation with his lusus and showing frustration at his dungeon crawler-like planet.

Some time later, he is shown fighting boss monsters on his planet, killing them with ease. He then comes across [[Granite]], who offers him a healing potion for his broken arm. Dismas drinks it after some bickering, unaware of how hot the liquid is, causing him to breathe fire and burn off his bandana. He quickly shoves the bottle back in his mouth to cover up his facial scar. The bone heals as promised, and Granite activates the floor beneath them, elevating them both to the next layer of the labyrinth.

Dismas then receives a message from Murrit, and a brief conversation is shown between them in which Murrit asks Dismas for an [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx1tDzwqods example of a paradox].

==Personality and traits==

Dismas is defined by a constant struggle to overcome his difficult circumstances. Having been raised by a volatile and aggressive [[Lusus#Skulltitan lusus|skulltitan lusus]], he was forced to endure horrible physical tolls and fend for himself from a very young age. Before the Game, Dismas was driven by his goal to escape his abusive home and kill his lusus, a dedication he shows through time spent studying ancient footage of skulltitans and the methods of their defeat.

He also seems prone to overestimating his abilities, to the point where he often does more harm than good to himself. Dismas tries to present a façade of being capable and tough, but has a tendency to freeze whenever it comes to making riskier decisions, a fact he is painfully aware of. His gentler, more nurturing side is on display whenever he interacts with those he cares about, namely Albion and Jentha. Although he remains curt and a bit "prickly", it's clear that he is an understanding and honest friend. In contrast, Murrit seems to bring out his thornier side, intentionally flaring his temper and causing him to lash out in frustration.

Dismas is very self conscious about his appearance, particularly his facial scars which have disfigured the left side of his mouth. He tends to cover himself up with multiple layers of clothing in order to hide this scarring.

===Murrit Turkin===
[[Murrit Turkin|Murrit]] and Dismas have known each other since childhood, and have been in a kismessitude for at least two sweeps, sharing a mutually antagonistic relationship. Murrit appears to have a tough-love stance toward Dismas, often "helping" him in roundabout, frustrating ways meant to prod him into action. Dismas is vocally disapproving of Murrit's more aggravating stunts, but tends to go along with them most of the time. He is particularly frustrated by Murrit's avoidance of honest communication, being much more inclined to talk things out without resorting to the usual rival-like theatrics. There is, however, an implicit bond of trust between the two, which is a testament to their partnership of many sweeps.

Dismas seems to hint at a more recent strain in their relationship, which is aggravated by Murrit's aforementioned typical avoidance of direct communication.

===Jentha Briati===
Dismas and [[Jentha Briati|Jentha]] are childhood friends, and are in a moirallegiance. Despite being anxiety-ridden and constantly struggling to put her thoughts into words, Jentha is much calmer when in Dismas's presence, and he's very good at intuitively understanding her feelings. He also provides for Jentha's material needs, as her anxiety has stopped her from being able to find a source of income on her own. The two are shown to be very in tune with one another.

[[Albion Shukra|Albion]] and Dismas are longtime childhood friends. Dismas was notably concerned about Albion's behavior during her brief possession stint, only relaxing when Murrit assured him that she was fine through his surveillance feeds. The two share an easy rapport, frequently teasing each other but still showing a lot trust and personal insight into the other's emotional states. They used to go by "star child" and "cowboy" when they were younger.

She was told she was the twelfth and final in a line of extraterrestrial prophets known as [[Star Children]], who spanned across several iterations of the [[Solitary Universe]] before the final one containing [[Repiton]]. She was supposedly destined to become a being of complete conciliation known as 'The Pure Oneself'. This was a lie told to her by her [[Star Guardian]] who made a promise to the true twelfth Star Child, [[Cyprim Shukra|The Exemplar]], to raise her under false terms and ensure she represses her emotions to make her more powerful during [[The Game]].

She was the third troll introduced and the sixth troll to enter the game.

==Etymology==
The word ''albion'' refers to the name of a specific advanced equatorium (an instrument used to measure the relative positions of heavenly bodies without calculation) built by Richard of Wallingford in 1326. It was unique in its ability to predict eclipses in addition to being able to calculate lunar, solar and planetary longitudes. Her surname, Shukra, is a Sanskrit word that means "lucid, clear, bright". It is also the name of an ancient sage who counseled Asuras in Vedic mythology, and the term for Venus in Hindu astrology.

== Biography ==

=== Four Passes ===
At four passes old, she was one of many children growing up under the care of Corporate and the associated Jadebloods. Despite being so young, she was a bit of a "Voice of Reason", as seen when questioning [[Dismas Mersiv]]'s plans to visit [[Jentha Briati]] and when she held him back during her Nuclear Meltdown.

Albion is first seen guiding Dismas into a detention mould after getting into an altercation with [[Murrit Turkin]]. From there, Albion is shown tagging along with Dismas' mission of visiting Jentha.

It's during their sneak-out that Albion gains her first vision as a Seer by learning the passcode to Jentha's mould.

=== Six Sweeps ===
Not much has been disclosed about Albion's history dating back this far. [[Arcjec Voorat]] states that as much as they bugged her about it, Albion never really participated in Arcjec's superhero roleplay. He also expresses that he believed her role as a Star Child was some grand backstory for her character. She is also seen in Arcjec's book during [S] Page 1079, illustrating mannerisms that are generally similar to the ones she exhibits currently.

=== Act 1 ===
Shortly after her introduction, Albion uses her computer to enter [[The Cell]] after she is messaged by [[Taz Poemme]], who'd just dealt with a particularly frustrating exchange with Murrit. Murrit had told Taz about a strange game he'd help put together and that not only would she have to play, but she was also obligated to do it with Arcjec, Taz's former friend who had spent the better part of two years avoiding Taz after a bad blow-up between the two. After a mysterious comment made by Albion (albeit one made jokingly),

Taz asks if Albion might know anything about it. Albion states that she does not she does not what Murrit might be planning but knows that the night was of great importance, as it was the night Repiton would finally crumble and the night she was expected to save it. Taz, a staunch non-believer of Albion's prophetic destiny dismisses the notion. Albion then repeats Murrit's sentiment and states that Taz really should try to reach out the Arcjec and finally try to work out their differences, instead of her merely trying to get his attention. Taz continues upset at the suggestion.

Their conversation ends with Albion going over her destiny to merge with her lusus and salvage the remains of Repiton and the remaining troll species. Taz is left confused and concerned for her moirail. Albion later receives Murrit's memo pertaining to the game and its nature. Albion then speaks to her lusus, a [[Star Guardian]], as she prepares herself to merge with it. The Star Guardian then reveals that there's been a change of plan and that Repiton is meant for destruction, not salvation.

Shocked at the horrible realization, Albion reaches out to [[Laivan Ferroo]], who is unfortunately away from his computer. She is then messaged by her matesprit, [[Sova Amalie]], concerned over Albion's apparent absence. Albion refuses to reply and involve her in troubles.

Albion is then thrust back into her vision with her lusus, and she demands that the lusus explain itself. The Star Guardian repeats that Repiton is unavoidably doomed and that she is merely destined to leave it. The Star Guardian then tells her that it was fulfilling an obligation to Albion's predecessor -- her [[Ancestors|ancestor]] -- to set events into a course that would allow Albion's ancestor to briefly take control of Albion's body and message Dismas telling him of the importance of the events to come, and warn him to not "follow credence of the [[White Noise|man who spins words like yarn]]" and to stop "the [[Ellsee Raines|limeblooded vessel]] to his heart". Albion is seen staring in astonishment in The Cell as her ancestor takes further control and shows her prophetic visions from the past, present, and future. She is included in {{VE|265|Murrit's memo}} during this, but doesn't respond.

=== Act 2 ===
Albion was added into Ellsee's memo {{VE|448|{{VE quote|ellsee|Rinkadink Thinking TimΣ}}}}, but as pointed out by Sova, cannot join in on the conversation.

Albion's ancestor -- [[Cyprim Shukra|The Exemplar]] -- speaks to Albion. She speaks of her own life, and her similar upbringing to Albion's, being told all her life that she was destined to bring about a better future, and similarly taught how to control her emotions; which The Exemplar studiously mastered. As she neared maturity she encountered [[White Noise]] in her meditation and was taken in to help set the proper conditions for the game that Albion and her friends would play, with promises of a grand future, similar to those spoken by her lusus. She speaks about her relationship with [[Zekura Raines|The Vivifier]] and their time together during [[The Renaissance]].

The Exemplar used the remains on the power she was granted by White Noise pass on her abilities, as well as her attunement to The Cell and the Star Guardian onto Albion, so she would be able to speak to Albion in her lifetime. She once again warns Albion about The Game, White Noise, and the Vivifier's descendant; Ellsee, insisting that Ellsee be excluded from the game for everyone's sake, knowing that Ellsee will one day be used by White Noise against them. Albion is empathetic to her ancestor's plight but refuses to allow her to decide what's the best course of action for her, citing her lies thus far as a reason to distrust The Exemplar. The Exemplar tells an outraged Albion that she intentionally fed lies to Albion as a means to harden her so she would be better able to protect herself and her friends from what is to come. Furious, Albion punches her ancestor in the face.

The Exemplar looks in horror, not at the aggression Albion showed, but because her former followers had finally found her in the [[Frog Temple]] and were bent on killing her. While The Exemplar is beaten and bleeding, she expresses that she wishes that she could have had more time with Albion before her death to make her understand what she told her, and saying that Albion will end up experiencing more pain than she could ever imagine and that she is sorry for that.

The Star Guardian then instructs Albion to return to her world as they will leave together with the deceased form of The Exemplar to become one with the all mother and truly free. Albion tells them that she still needs help, as she now doesn't know what to do, which they reply that she has friends that share the same problem as hers and they will help her as much as she helps them too and there's a way to fix herself. Albion and The Star Guardian bid farewell to each other as Albion exits The Cell.

She quickly messages Sova and apologizes to her for not responding earlier, then mentions that she doesn't want the position anymore. She apologizes once more as she was scared as to what Sova would feel about the whole ordeal. Sova quickly tells her that she wanted to be upset about it but cannot bring to do so, as she has taught her so many things that got her as to what she currently is and tells her that she loves her, which she too agrees.

Albion enters in {{VE|1000|2=[S] Ellsee: Enter.}}, though she was only shown on her denizen meeting platform.

=== Act 3 Act 1 ===
In Arcjec's reopened memo, {{VE|1704|{{VE quote|arcjec|XDXD Rebeating the dead omenbeast. XDXD}}}}, Albion is seen to be on her planet.

On her planet [[Land of Asteroids and Runes]], Albion is seen translating [[Narayan Code|certain runes]], much to her own exhaustion. It's revealed in this segment that Albion, through her emotion auras, which were correlated to her mood ring, is now able to utilize them in ways she was not able to before, such as {{VE|2228|a certain weapon}} through fear and the ability to fly when stable. She also took great pride in crafting stories from the stars and crafting them in Repitonian Pre-Text to keep up the old traditions of planetary folklore. She has a thing for scented candles and bath bomb-like items called 'glop enhancers' as well. She also regularly translates scrolls for [[Sovara Amalie|Sova]].

Prior to the events of the game, Albion was very excited for the promised day where will salvage Repiton and her friends from the end of the world (this day would actually end up being the day that she and her friends are meant to leave to enter the game).

She was supposedly destined to become a being of complete conciliation known as 'The Pure Oneself'. This was a lie told to her by her [[Star Guardian]] who made a promise to the true twelfth Star Child, [[Cyprim Shukra|The Exemplar]], to raise her under false terms and ensure she represses her emotions to make her more powerful during [[The Game]].

She was the third troll introduced and the sixth troll to enter the game.

==Etymology==
The word ''albion'' refers to the name of a specific advanced equatorium (an instrument used to measure the relative positions of heavenly bodies without calculation) built by Richard of Wallingford in 1326. It was unique in its ability to predict eclipses in addition to being able to calculate lunar, solar and planetary longitudes. Her surname, Shukra, is a Sanskrit word that means "lucid, clear, bright". It is also the name of an ancient sage who counseled Asuras in Vedic mythology, and the term for Venus in Hindu astrology.

At four passes old, she was one of many children growing up under the care of Corporate and the associated Jadebloods. Despite being so young, she was a bit of a "Voice of Reason", as seen when questioning [[Dismas Mersiv]]'s plans to visit [[Jentha Briati]] and when she held him back during her Nuclear Meltdown.

Albion is first seen guiding Dismas into a detention mould after getting into an altercation with [[Murrit Turkin]]. From there, Albion is shown tagging along with Dismas' mission of visiting Jentha.

It's during their sneak-out that Albion gains her first vision as a Seer by learning the passcode to Jentha's mould.

=== Six Sweeps ===
Not much has been disclosed about Albion's history dating back this far. [[Arcjec Voorat]] states that as much as they bugged her about it, Albion never really participated in Arcjec's superhero roleplay. He also expresses that he believed her role as a Star Child was some grand backstory for her character. She is also seen in Arcjec's book during [S] Page 1079, illustrating mannerisms that are generally similar to the ones she exhibits currently.

Shortly after her introduction, Albion uses her computer to enter [[The Cell]] after she is messaged by [[Taz Poemme]], who'd just dealt with a particularly frustrating exchange with Murrit. Murrit had told Taz about a strange game he'd help put together and that not only would she have to play, but she was also obligated to do it with Arcjec, Taz's former friend who had spent the better part of two years avoiding Taz after a bad blow-up between the two. After a mysterious comment made by Albion (albeit one made jokingly),

Taz asks if Albion might know anything about it. Albion states that she does not she does not what Murrit might be planning but knows that the night was of great importance, as it was the night Repiton would finally crumble and the night she was expected to save it. Taz, a staunch non-believer of Albion's prophetic destiny dismisses the notion. Albion then repeats Murrit's sentiment and states that Taz really should try to reach out the Arcjec and finally try to work out their differences, instead of her merely trying to get his attention. Taz continues upset at the suggestion.

Their conversation ends with Albion going over her destiny to merge with her lusus and salvage the remains of Repiton and the remaining troll species. Taz is left confused and concerned for her moirail. Albion later receives Murrit's memo pertaining to the game and its nature. Albion then speaks to her lusus, a [[Star Guardian]], as she prepares herself to merge with it. The Star Guardian then reveals that there's been a change of plan and that Repiton is meant for destruction, not salvation.

Shocked at the horrible realization, Albion reaches out to [[Laivan Ferroo]], who is unfortunately away from his computer. She is then messaged by her matesprit, [[Sova Amalie]], concerned over Albion's apparent absence. Albion refuses to reply and involve her in troubles.

Albion is then thrust back into her vision with her lusus, and she demands that the lusus explain itself. The Star Guardian repeats that Repiton is unavoidably doomed and that she is merely destined to leave it. The Star Guardian then tells her that it was fulfilling an obligation to Albion's predecessor -- her [[Ancestors|ancestor]] -- to set events into a course that would allow Albion's ancestor to briefly take control of Albion's body and message Dismas telling him of the importance of the events to come, and warn him to not "follow credence of the [[White Noise|man who spins words like yarn]]" and to stop "the [[Ellsee Raines|limeblooded vessel]] to his heart". Albion is seen staring in astonishment in The Cell as her ancestor takes further control and shows her prophetic visions from the past, present, and future. She is included in {{VE|265|Murrit's memo}} during this, but doesn't respond.

Albion's ancestor -- [[Cyprim Shukra|The Exemplar]] -- speaks to Albion. She speaks of her own life, and her similar upbringing to Albion's, being told all her life that she was destined to bring about a better future, and similarly taught how to control her emotions; which The Exemplar studiously mastered. As she neared maturity she encountered [[White Noise]] in her meditation and was taken in to help set the proper conditions for the game that Albion and her friends would play, with promises of a grand future, similar to those spoken by her lusus. She speaks about her relationship with [[Zekura Raines|The Vivifier]] and their time together during [[The Renaissance]].

The Exemplar used the remains on the power she was granted by White Noise pass on her abilities, as well as her attunement to The Cell and the Star Guardian onto Albion, so she would be able to speak to Albion in her lifetime. She once again warns Albion about The Game, White Noise, and the Vivifier's descendant; Ellsee, insisting that Ellsee be excluded from the game for everyone's sake, knowing that Ellsee will one day be used by White Noise against them. Albion is empathetic to her ancestor's plight but refuses to allow her to decide what's the best course of action for her, citing her lies thus far as a reason to distrust The Exemplar. The Exemplar tells an outraged Albion that she intentionally fed lies to Albion as a means to harden her so she would be better able to protect herself and her friends from what is to come. Furious, Albion punches her ancestor in the face.

The Exemplar looks in horror, not at the aggression Albion showed, but because her former followers had finally found her in the [[Frog Temple]] and were bent on killing her. While The Exemplar is beaten and bleeding, she expresses that she wishes that she could have had more time with Albion before her death to make her understand what she told her, and saying that Albion will end up experiencing more pain than she could ever imagine and that she is sorry for that.

The Star Guardian then instructs Albion to return to her world as they will leave together with the deceased form of The Exemplar to become one with the all mother and truly free. Albion tells them that she still needs help, as she now doesn't know what to do, which they reply that she has friends that share the same problem as hers and they will help her as much as she helps them too and there's a way to fix herself. Albion and The Star Guardian bid farewell to each other as Albion exits The Cell.

She quickly messages Sova and apologizes to her for not responding earlier, then mentions that she doesn't want the position anymore. She apologizes once more as she was scared as to what Sova would feel about the whole ordeal. Sova quickly tells her that she wanted to be upset about it but cannot bring to do so, as she has taught her so many things that got her as to what she currently is and tells her that she loves her, which she too agrees.

Due to the likely tumultuous relationship between Taz and [[Occeus]], as Taz's moirail, Albion is often pulled to act as the mediator when they enter the ashen quadrant. As the two have yet to interact in-comic, it is unknown what Albion and Occeus' relationship is like.

=== The Exemplar ===
Due to the circumstances of their meeting, Albion is very angry and distrustful of her ancestor, [[Ancestors#The Exemplar|the Exemplar]] (a.k.a. Cyprim Shukra). The Exemplar uses [[the Cell]] to speak to Albion from her own time period, in an attempt to provide words of warning and advice to Albion in regards to The Game, but Albion -- having just learned that her lusus had lied to her her whole life, and that The Exemplar was responsible for all of it -- is outraged at her ancestor's lies and initially refuses to listen to her. Albion is however, sympathetic to her ancestor's plight after she is told of her life. Albion is further outraged when she learns that her ancestor was intentionally conditioning her to suppress her emotions through and hide herself away so her rage would be more potent.

The Exemplar views her descendant in a somewhat maternal manner. Having been given the ability to see the future by White Noise, The Exemplar was shown the pain and suffering that Albion and her friends would go through in their lifetime, greater than any pain that the Exemplar would go through in her own life. Having been lied to and betrayed by those her she served and worked with, the Exemplar seeks to protect and prepare her descendant, through any means necessary, in hopes that her descendant can avoid her own pain from the very same people. When the Exemplar is found and killed by her former followers in her own time, The Exemplar expresses regret over not having had the chance to spend more time with Albion, and that she is sorry about all the pain Albion will endure.

* Albion's [[Skorpe]] handle is demiurgeQuantified. This name has a few terms to it.
** A demiurge is "a being who is responsible for the creation of a universe" this refers to how Albion and the eleven others must resurrect [[Kheparia]] to restore her.

** The Skorpe handle demiurgeQuantified may mean "a defined universe creator"
